Cops arrested a man for allegedly
shoving a senior down a Jay
Street subway staircase on Dec. 19.
The 66-year-old victim told police
that the suspect allegedly pushed
him down the steps at Fulton Mall
around 1:30 am, while exiting the
station, causing him to knock his
head on the wall as he tumbled.
The victim pointed out his attacker
to transit cops, who collared
the man on felony assault charges,
according to police reports.
Beauty and the heist
Marauders looted a Willoughby
Street beauty salon sometime between
Dec. 14 and Dec. 18.
The parlor’s owners told police
that the invaders busted open the
door of the shop between Lawrence
and Jay streets and stole irons and
other styling tools, worth $2,300.
Construction cads
Thieves raided a Fulton Mall
construction site between Dec. 12
and Dec. 14.
The victims told police that the
bandits cut the lock on the site near
Dekalb Avenue and stole a $1,200
generator.
Caught in the act!
Police arrested a man for allegedly
breaking and entering into a
Livingston Street building on Dec.
15.
A security guard told police that
he saw the suspect on surveillance
cameras cut a lock using bolt cutters
between Hanover Place and
Nevins Street at around 11 pm, before
breaking into a tool box and
taking several pieces of hardware.
Cops arrived on the scene just
before 11:30 pm and arrested the
suspect on felony burglary charges,
according to police reports.
Quick swipe
A sneak thief stole a man’s rental
bike and jacket on Atlantic Avenue
on Dec. 12.
The victim told police that he left
his Citi Bike with his jacket unattended
between Clinton and Court
streets at 10:40 am, and when he
came back it was gone.

Cops arrested a woman who allegedly

a broom at the house near Park Avenue
just after 2:10 pm because took a

Cops arrested a man for allegedly
lunging at a fi rst responder at
Brooklyn Hospital Center on Dekalb
Avenue on Dec. 17.
The victim told police that the
suspect allegedly grabbed the emergency
medical services worker’s
arms and pushed him against the
wall inside the medical facility near
Ashland Place at 5:25 pm.
Police arrived at the scene and
arrested the suspect on felony assault
charges just before 6 pm, according
to police reports.
Indoor looting
Freebooters fi lched cash from a
S. Portland Avenue restaurant on
Dec. 13.
The store owners told police that
the bandits busted the front door of
the eatery between Fulton Street
and Hanson Place at 3:25 am and
bagged $200 from the register, before
fl eeing undetected.
Men with a van
A gang of marauders looted a
Fulton Street bodega on Dec. 16.
The store owners told police that
the pilferers broke in and stole an
automated teller machine from the
store at Grand Avenue at 3:50 am,
before loading it into a gray minivan
and speeding off.
Pilfer assist
Some nogoodniks stole a woman’s
pricey e-bike on Adelphi Street
on Dec. 14.
The victim told police that purloiners
stole her $6,000 Tern bike
from between Myrtle and Park avenues
at 2 pm.
Grab-and-go
A mean mugger stole a woman’s
phone on Clinton Avenue on Dec.
19.
The victim told police that the
bandit snatched her device right out
of her hands between Myrtle and
Park avenues at 5 pm and bolted off.

Going postal!
A man accused his mailman of
stealing nearly $2,000 of electronics
from his 70th Street porch on Dec. 15.
The victim told police that surveillance
footage caught the mail
carrier swiping $1,958 worth of electronics
from in front of the victim’s
17th Avenue house at 1:21 pm.
What a tool!
Cops cuffed a teenager for allegedly
throwing a rake at his friend
on 62nd Street on Dec. 17.
The victim told police that the
19-year-old defendant threw a rake at
him outside his home between 16th
and 17th avenues at 8:35 pm, before
breaking several items on his porch.
Bottled up anger
Police arrested a man for allegedly
attacking a victim with a bottle
on W. Fourth Street on Dec. 18.
The victim told police that the
suspect smacked him over the head
repeatedly with a beer bottle between
Avenue P and Avenue O at
2:40 am, causing heavy bleeding.
Pushed down
A group of robbers shoved a man
and stole $800 from his pocket on
72nd Street on Dec. 18.
The victim told police that the
good-for-nothings pushed him to
the ground between 14th and 15th
avenues at 3:50 am, before nabbing
the cash and his driver’s license
from his back pocket.
The victim suffered a minor contusion
to his nose, cops said.
Shoplifting spree
Cops arrested two women for allegedly
stealing clothes from a Bay
Parkway store on Dec. 16.
An employee told police that the
suspects snagged the times of clothing
from the department store by
Bay Parkway at 11:15 am.
Police caught the defendants and
charged them with grand larceny.

Two men were shot, one fatally,
inside a Crown Heights nightclub
early on Monday morning, police
reported.
The homicide happened at about
1:15 am on Dec. 21 inside the Milk
River Lounge at 960 Atlantic Ave.
Offi cers from the 77th Precinct,
in responding to a 911 call, found a
32-year-old man shot in the chest.
Paramedics rushed him to NewYork
Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist
Hospital, where he was pronounced
dead.
Police have withheld his identity,
pending family notifi cation.
Later, the NYPD learned that the
second shooting victim — a 37-yearold
man shot once in the buttocks —
had been taken by private means to
Brooklyn Hospital. He was listed in
stable condition.
At this point in the investigation,
police have not yet established
a motive for the murder. Cops are
looking for a suspect preliminarily
described as a Black man in a
red jacket, who was last seen fl eeing
westbound on Atlantic Avenue, possibly
in a wheelchair.
No arrests have been made in
the ongoing probe, police said.
It’s not clear whether the lounge
was in operation at the time of the
shooting. A Yelp listing for the
club indicated that it had closed
months ago. Amid the COVID-19
pandemic’s second wave, all indoor
dining is suspended — and
all restaurants and bars must
close by 10 p.m. nightly.
