The Healthcare Heroes Virtual
Awards & Networking Event,
presented by NYC Health +
Hospitals/Elmhurst would not

The virtual event was held on
Wednesday, October 7.
“How we’re making it through

been treated in our hospitals
by our doctors, our nurses, our
aides -- they are our heroes,”
said Victoria Schneps, President
of Schneps Media. “And
it is our honor and pleasure to
recognize them today.”
Some of the Healthcare
Heroes honored were Dr. Jasmine
Moshirpur of the Elmhurst
Team, Nicole Jordan-Martin
of the Community Care Team,
John J. Ciafone, Esq., a trial attorney,
and the MediSys Health
Network Team.
Dr. Moshirpur is the Director
of the Obstetrics and Gynecology
at Elmhurst Hospital as well
as a Professor of Obstetrics and
Gynecology and Dean for Elmhurst/
Queens Programs at
the Icahn School of Medicine
at Mount Sinai.
Jordan-Martin is the CEO
and Executive Director of
NYC Health + Hospitals/
Community Care, responsible
for providing executive
oversight for the design,
planning, implementation,
and management of the
COVID-19 Isolation Hotel
Program.
Ciafone is a practicing attorney
in New York, New Jersey,
and Washington, D.C.,
as well as a certified EMT
in New York State. He is an
advocate for families to be
in touch with their COVID-19
inflicted loved ones in nursing
homes, rehabilitation centers,
and hospitals.
