Thugs beat and stabbed a man on
the Riegelmann Boardwalk in Coney
Island on Aug. 30.
The victim told police the brutes
attacked him near W. 16th Street at 10
p.m., roughing him up and stabbing
him three times with an unknown
weapon.
Wandering eye
A woman stabbed a man in the
eye inside a Neptune Avenue apartment
on Aug. 28.
The victim got into an argument
with his girlfriend after she caught
him talking to another woman,
when she picked up a screwdriver
and plunged it into his eye inside the
residence between 3415 Neptune Ave
at 10:38 p.m.
Bad seed
Cops are hunting the brute who
beat his 73-year-old mother because
she wouldn’t take him to buy heroin
on Ocean Parkway on Aug. 30.
The victim told police that her son,
34, asked her for a lift to purchase
drugs, but when he discovered she
was instead attempting to drive him
to a hospital to get help, he punched
her several times in the between 2565
Ocean Parkway at 9:20 a.m.
Parking pirate
A thief looted a car parked on W.
10th Street on Aug. 29.
The crook managed to open up
the locked car near Surf Avenue at 5
p.m., before nabbing $57, a Nintendo
Switch, and other valuables, cops
said.
Beach bandit
Some scoundrels stole an iPhone,
jewelry, and other valuables from two
women as they swam off the coast of
Coney Island Beach on Aug. 31.
The victims told police they took a
dip near W. 12th Street at 3 p.m., only
to return to the beach sometime later
to fi nd their stuff stolen.

A 19-year-old woman tased her 16-
year-old acquaintance on 20th Avenue
on Aug. 26
The victim told police that the
ruffi an and her friend shot her with
the stun gun her near 86th Street at
8 p.m.
Wiped out
A bandit swiped a birth certifi -
cate, jewelry, and $10,000 from a 65th
Street apartment on Aug. 27.

and the other residents were at work
when the burglar entered the apartment
between 16th and 17th avenues
at around noon, before looting the
place.
Phone fi lcher
A bandit swiped a man’s cellphone
on 86th Street on Sept. 1.
The victim told police that he was
waiting for an Uber near 20th Avenue
at 3:35 a.m., when the thief approached
him and asked to borrow
his phone to make an emergency
call.
Upon receiving the $1,149 cell,
the crook exclaimed, “The Phone
is mine now!” before hightailing it,
cops said.
Paintball punk
Some rascal shot a man with a
paintball gun on W. Seventh Street
on Sept. 1.
The victim told police that he was
riding his e-bike by Avenue P at 11:40
p.m., when the lout painted him with
the gas-powered gun, before fl eeing
in his car.
Violent robbery
A crook pushed a man to the
ground and stole $200 from him on
85th Street on Sept. 1.
The victim told police that the
mugger walked towards him as he
exited his building between 20th
and 21st avenues at midnight, when
he shoved him against the fence and
demanded cash. The victim fell to
the ground and gave the robber $200
from his wallet, which the thief took
before fl eeing, according to police.

Stunning arrest
Police arrested a suspect for allegedly
stealing a motorcycle on Fourth
Avenue after blasting him with a
stun gun on Aug. 30.
A bystander told cops that a suspicious
looking man allegedly took
the motorbike near the intersection
of 60th Street and drove off at around
5 p.m., before crashing into a nearby
fence.
Police tracked down the man with
the stolen bike and teased him as he
attempted to fl ee the scene. He was
arrested on felony grand larceny
auto charges, according to police reports.
Postal perp
A fraudster stole a check from
a Fort Hamilton Parkway mailbox
sometime between Aug. 21 and Aug.
23.
The victim told police that she put
the check in the mailbox near the
intersection of E. Second Street at
around 8 p.m. on a Wednesday, and
the crook cashed his ill-gotten check
into their own account two days
later.
Tool time
Cops cuffed a man for allegedly
stealing from a 19th Street hardware
store on Aug. 29.
A store employee told police that
the suspect entered the store near
Third Avenue before allegedly grabbing
$1,219 worth of goods and attempting
to fl ee at around 3 p.m.
Police arrived on the scene and
arrested the man on felony grand larceny
charges.
Chance of pain
Police booked a suspect for allegedly
assaulting a man with a windshield
wiper blade on 63rd Street on
Aug. 26.
The victim told police that he was
arguing with another man between
Fifth and Sixth avenues at around 8
p.m., when the guy hurled the wiper
at him, leaving him with a modest
gash on his arm.
Police arrived on the scene and arrested
the suspect on felony assault
charges, according to police reports.
Subway swiper
A thief ripped off a sleeping subway
rider at the 25th Street station
on Aug. 27.
The victim told police that she
boarded the Brooklyn-bound N train
at Time Square and fell asleep at
around 7:30 p.m. When she awoke
in the Brooklyn station near Fourth
Avenue, she realized her luggage was
missing.
Bad check
A swindler stole $4,999 using a
checkbook they found on Third Avenue
on Aug 24.
The victim told police that she
lost the checkbook between 45th and
46th streets at around 1 p.m., and the
fraudster picked it up and wrote multiple
fraudulent checks over the next
several days.
Chain robbery
Three brutes robbed an drunken
man on 51st Street on Sept. 2.
The victim told police that he
was walking near the intersection
of Fifth Avenue at around 12:30 a.m.,
when one of the perps punched him
in the face, before grabbing his gold
chain and running off.
Breaking and entering
Police arrested a man for allegedly
breaking into his 52nd Street
landlord’s apartment on Sept. 1.
The victim told police that the
suspect knocked on his door between
Third and Fourth avenue repeatedly
to no avail at around 4 p.m., before allegedly
violently kicking in the door
— causing $250 in damage.
Police arrived on the scene and
arrested the man on felony criminal
mischief charges, according to police
reports.

Heresy!
Cops cuffed a man who allegedly
stole $500 from a church on Congress
Street on Aug. 19.
Church staff told police the suspect
entered the house of worship’s
management offi ce between Court
and Clinton streets at about 8:30 a.m.,
when he snatched $500 from the safe.
Police arrested the alleged bandit
three days later, according to police.
Garden plot
A bandit swiped $15 from a fl orists’
cash register on Court Street
on Aug. 15.
An employee told police that she
was helping a customer when the
thief entered the store between Carroll
Street and First Place at around
11:15 a.m., nabbing $15 from the register,
and grabbing her her nearby wallet,
which was carrying the employee’s
credit card and driver’s license.
Shady move
A lout stole a $220 pair of sunglasses
from a boutique clothing
store on Court Street on Aug. 16.
Police report that the bandit
snagged the expensive shades from
the store between Baltic and Warren
streets at around 3 p.m.
Earbud bandit
Some crook stole a pair of earbuds
worth $50 from a Court Street cell
shop on Aug. 28.
An employee told police that the
thief took the iFrogz-brand earbuds
from the shop between Carroll Street
and First Place at 5:15 p.m.
