Two delinquents stole a test
phone from a cell store on Kings
Highway on July 5.
The owner called the police
around 1 p.m. after the two teens
took the phone worth $1,000 from
the store between Kings Highway
and E. 34th Street at 1:45 p.m., before
fl eeing north on Utica Avenue.
The victim claimed he
recognized one of the teenagers,
saying she dropped off a resume
earlier in the week, according to
authorities.
Bad credit
A thief stole four credit cards
from a parked car on Utica Avenue
on July 1.
The victim told police that he
parked his car near E. 34th Street at
3:50 p.m., and returned a few hours
later to fi nd his cards swiped.
The man’s bank later alerted him
that the thief had racked up $600 in
charges on his cards, cops said.
Gone clubbing
A sneak stole a man’s golf bag
and clubs from a car he parked on
E. 33 Street on July 2.
The thief looted the victim’s car
between Avenue R and Quentin
Road at 3:20 a.m., cops said.
Stolen goods
Cops arrested a man for stealing
$1,000 worth of electrical wire from
a hardware store on Avenue U on
July 1.
The shoplifter allegedly put the
wire in his cart and went to the self
check out between East 55 Street
and Avenue U, but he only scanned
a soda before strolling out the store,
cops said.

Some punk allegedly fi red
multiple shots at his own mother
through the front door of their West
28th Street apartment on July 7
police said.
The son shot his mother in
the left leg over who was going
to do laundry at their home near
Mermaid Avenue at 10:50 p.m., cops
said.
After shooting his mother in the
leg, the son hightailed it on West 25
street, police said.
Rude awakening
A slime ball punched a 65-yearold
woman while she was sleeping
at her Brighton Street apartment
on July 6.
The victim told police the creep
slugged her several times in the
face at her home between Brighten
1st Street and Brighten 2nd Street
at 4:30 p.m.
Import export
A carjacker stole a white Honda
from an auto repair shop on Stillwell
Avenue on July 5.
The thief nabbed the Japanese
import from the repair shop near
Neptune Avenue at 1 a.m., before
peeling off heading north on
Stillwell Avenue.
Thirsty?
Cops arrested a man for allegedly
beating his wife with a water bottle
inside their home on 28th Avenue
on July 6.
The couple was arguing inside
their apartment near Cropsey
Avenue at 8:50 pm when the husband
got angry and threw a water bottle
at her stomach, police said.

Jewel heist
A burglar nabbed $4,000 worth
of jewelry from a Sheepshead Bay
home while the owners were on
vacation between June 26-July 1.
The victim told police the
burglar entered the vacant home
on Jerome Avenue through the
bathroom window. When the thief
exited out the window he dropped a
phone charger, cops said.
Home again
A man allegedly stole $20,000
worth of electronics and furniture
from an E. 17th Street apartment
over the course of numerous heists
between June 11 and June 23.
The re-occurring thefts at the
Avenue Z property occurred after
the suspect was evicted by marshals
from June 11-June 23, cops said.

Family feud
A woman was arrested for
allegedly smashing her father over

Avenue on July 5.
The daughter, a student at
Princeton University who may
suffer from depression, smacked
her father with the pot when the two
were in their apartment between
Bath and Cropsey avenues at 7:45
p.m, authorities claim. The victim
suffered cuts to his head and was
treated at Lutheran Hospital, police
report.
Two-bit crime
A man was arrested for allegedly
stealing $5 from a man on 81st
Street on July 5.
The victim told police that the
defendant approached him on the
corner of 18th Avenue and 81st
Street at 6:55 p.m., before growling,
“Give me your money or I will
punch you in the face,” according
to cops.
The defendant snatched the
victim’s money — $5 in cash
— before police busted him,
authorities claim.
Night terror
Three punks robbed a man on
64th Street on July 5.
The victim told cops that he was
walking to his car between 17th and
18th avenues at 4:35 a.m., when the
three thieves chased him down and
surrounded, taking $80 from him.
Cold case
Some crook broke into a deli on
Avenue S and stole the store’s ice
cream on July 4.
A bodega employee told police
that the milk marauder kicked
through the storage space’s
plexiglass door at 11:30 p.m., and
snatched ice-cream from the cooler
between W. Ninth and W. Eighth
streets, authorities say.

Sunset swiper
Two crooks robbed a woman on
Fourth Avenue on June 30.
The victim told police that she
was near 53rd Street, when the
bad guys grabbed her and stole her
purse at 3 a.m. The two bandits
made off toward 54th Street with
$630 worth of ill-gotten goods, cops
said.
Brutal robbery
Two bruisers savagely robbed a
man on 48th Street on June 26.
The victim told police that he
was walking between Fourth and
Fifth avenues, when the ruffi ans
approached at around 2:30 a.m.
and began repeatedly hitting the
victim. Once the 22-year-old victim
fell to the ground, the perps stole
his wallet and his cellphone, cops
said.
Cuffed
Police arrested a suspect for
allegedly robbing a man on Second
Avenue on June 27.
The victim told police the
suspect waltzed up to him near 59th
Street and punched him in the face
at around midnight. The suspect
then reportedly reached into the
victim’s pocket and stole his wallet,
cops said.
First responders arrived on
scene and took the victim to NYU
Langone Hospital for treatment
of minor injuries. Police tracked
down the suspect and arrested him
on June 29 on felony grand larceny
charges, according to police.
Sunset scammer
A con artist scammed a Sixth
Avenue woman out of $40,000 on
June 25.
The victim told police that she
was contacted by an unknown
phone number, who claimed to
represent the social security offi ce.
The swindler told the victim that she
was under investigation and needed
to send the money — via an online
virtual currency — in order to keep
it safe during the “investigation.”
The victim, who resides between
49th and 50th streets, sent the funds
at around 9 a.m., before catching on
to the scam, cops said.
Tire slasher
A malefactor slashed a man’s car
tires on Third Avenue on June 27.
The victim told police that he
double parked his vehicle near
the intersection of 32nd Street at
6 a.m., before entering a nearby
store. While he was in the store for
several minutes, the villain slashed
both rear tires and keyed the driver
side of the car, cops said.
Mail thief
A thief stole several packages
from an Ocean Parkway apartment
building on June 27.
Building personnel told police
than an unknown baddie entered
the lobby of the building between
Caton Place and Kermit Place,
before stealing approximately
$1,318 worth of yet-to-be-delivered
packages at 4 p.m., cops said.
