Gravesend crash lands
car upside down

The driver of an SUV
crashed into a parked car
in Gravesend on May 2,
fl ipping his own car over.

P heard a loud bang at
around 9:30 pm, and discovered
the 2018 Jeep
Renegade fl ipped over in
a parking space between
two other vehicles, they
said.
Residents marveled
at how the upside-down
Jeep was almost perfectly
parked in the space between
a Honda Accord and
another SUV.

Avenue P, but when he got
to the corner, he started
running,” said a witness
who didn’t want to be identifi
ed.
“I can’t believe that Jeep
ended up almost perfectly
in the parking space,” said
Jennifer Belsky, a resident
of the block.
The Jeep struck a van,
seriously damaging its
rear end. Police believe
the owner of the vehicle
lives nearby, but was not
found at the location.
Emergency Service offi
cers were able to fl ip the
vehicle over.
