PDQ
PDQ, or People Dedicated to Quality,
is opening in July its first location in
New York after a longtime stance in
Florida, with other locations scattered
across the country.
The restaurant will offer dine-in,
drive-thru and catering options as
well as many different sandwiches,
salads and bowls made to order. The
menu features a variety of meats and
menu items free of hormones and
steroids. Its goal is to take away the
harmful additives to add to the flavor
and quality of the food.
There are many different sandwich
options all served on toasted brioche
buns, including popular favorites
such as the pimento crunch and
the grilled hawaiian sandwich
($5.99-$8.99).

PATRIZIA’S
Brothers Giacomo and Gennaro
Alaio, who brought the taste of
Italy to New York, recently opened
the latest location of Patrizia’s in
Hauppauge.
Using family recipes that date back 150
years, they crafted a menu full of Italian
favorites. This includes a family style
dinner feast for $50 per person that
consists of seven appetizers, homemade
pasta, three entrees, homemade desserts,
and coffee, as well as unlimited
domestic beer, house wine, sangria, and
soda. There’s bound to be something for
everyone.
The menu offers gluten-free pasta and
pizza as well so all can enjoy. To finish
it off there is a generous dessert menu
including Patrizia’s special dessert, a
puff pastry filled with
Nutella ($6).

I HEART MAC &
CHEESE
This Florida-based
fast-casual restaurant
chain offering a
customizable menu
of build-your-own
mac and cheese
recently opened its
first restaurant on Long Island.
The menu offers many new takes on
beloved oldies. Chef specials include
the lobster and white truffle mac and
another fan favorite, the best of both
worlds. This baked mac-and-cheesefilled
sandwich contains slow-cooked
short rib, white Cheddar cheese,
American cheese, and barbeque
sauce. There are many other chef specials
so patrons can choose toppings
for mac and cheese or grilled cheese
as well as the build-your-own section
of the menu.
