Sunnyside Shines Executive Director Jaime-Faye Bean says that Sun-nyside
Shines will also offer market-goers a coupon book full of savings to
storefronts in the neighborhood. “Sunnyside is a great destination for food
and fun, and our holiday shopping coupon book will allow market-goers to
do all of their holiday shopping locally, and then enjoy dinner, drinks, or a
manicure at one of our outstanding neighborhood merchants.” She adds that
Sunnyside Shines will also be sponsoring a free holiday shopping trolley
on two Saturdays to transport shoppers to the Bliss Plaza Pop Up Holiday
Market as well as to local storefronts.
John Wang, founder of the Queens Night Market, said, “We’re always
looking to activate public spaces in a way that is mutually beneficial for
entrepreneurs and the surrounding community. We had a great series of
summer markets in Sunnyside, and are looking forward to collaborating on
a successful holiday market at the same venue.”
