Hopefully, it will be an enjoyable event and that many families will participate. ANNUAL SHAREHOLDER MEETING: I am looking forward to seeing a large turnout of shareholders at our financial meeting which is scheduled to take place on the deck of Pool #2 at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday 19th. FINANCIAL: For the 10 months through April 30, 2014 (budgeted versus actual) showed revenues $13,476,954 (84.70%) of the budgeted amount and total expenses $12,266,692 (80.90%) of the budgeted amount as reported by our accountants. BOARD VACANCY: I am pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has voted to fill the vacant seat with the election of Judith Densky. POOL #1: As I write this article we are aiming to open Pool #1 on June 28 weather permitting. If the preparation of the pool is delayed due to inclement weather, we may have to postpone the opening date of this pool until Friday, Fourth of July. LAUNDRY MACHINES: In previous articles I have written about the installation of new washing machines and dryers. Based on recent updates, it looks like it will be July before the replacement process takes place. CEMENT WORK UNDER THE BUILDINGS: The replacement of the cement work will take place under B#23 on Monday, June 23, weather permitting. This will be our sample building and, based on this work, we will decide if we should use this contractor for other buildings. PARKING LOT REPAVING: Just as an advisory, the repair and repaving of the parking lots should be underway by the time this article gets published. POOL MANAGEMENT: So far we have been receiving good feedback with regards to the operation of the pool. I hope this will continue throughout the summer so that we all have a smooth summer season.
