Crook knocks out man and steals his iPhone

Murray Hill
Cops are searching for the man who
knocked out a man and stole his phone
in Murray Hill.
Police said the crook approached a
63-year-old man near 159th Street and
Sanford Avenue just after midnight on
Sept. 22. The suspect then punched the
victim in the face — which rendered
him unconscious — and nabbed the
man’s iPhone, according to authorities

MS arrived at the scene and transported
the victim to a nearby hospital
in stable condition, police said.
The victim is described as a black
man with a tattoo on left side of neck.

Thief beats up cellphone store employee: NYPD

Cops are looking for a thief who
stole a cellphone from a South Richmond
Hill shop and beat up the store
employee who tried to stop her.
Authorities say that at 12:20 p.m. on
Oct. 13, an unknown woman entered a
Cricket Wireless store, located 135-20
Liberty Ave. Once inside, the suspect
took a Nokia cellphone off of the shelf
and tried to leave the store.
When a 21-year-old store employee
tried to stop the crook, she proceeded
to punch the employee several times.
The suspect then fled the scene in an
unknown direction.
The employee sustained minor injuries
as a result of the incident.

St. Albans
Burglar kicks in door of St. Albans home

Cops are searching for the man who
allegedly kicked in the door of a St. Albans
home on Oct. 15 in an attempted
burglary.
Police say the suspect followed a
50-year-old woman who was walking
home near 115th Drive and 196th Street
around 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 15.
The man then forcibly kicked
and pushed the door open after the
victim had locked it, according to
authorities.
The victim hid in a room within the
residence and the individual fled on
foot in an unknown direction without
taking any property, police said.
No injuries were reported as a result
of the incident, according to authorities.
Police describe the suspect as a
black male between the ages of 18 and
24 who is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches
tall and 150 pounds.
The man has dark hair and was last
seen wearing a light blue sweatshirt,
dark pants and white sneakers.

Jamaica Estates
Two wanted in connection with burglary spree

Cops are searching
for the crooks who looted
the same shed twice in Jamaica
Estates this week.
Police said the thieves
entered a shed at 175-06
Devonshire Road at 5 a.m.
on Oct. 15. Once inside,
the burglars snatched a
lawn mower and blower
before fleeing in an unknown
direction, according
to authorities.
Then, just after midnight
on Oct. 16, the suspects
returned to the
shed and collected a snow
blower, leaf blower and
weed whacker before fleeing,
police said.
