Cops hunt for Five Guys burglary suspect

Police are searching
for a suspect wanted
in connection with
the attempted burglary
of a Five Guys
restaurant in Little
Neck last month.
Police said the unidentified
suspect entered
the restaurant
on Horace Harding Expressway
through an
unlocked door at 1:35
a.m. on Oct. 3. An employee
entered the restaurant
and confronted
the suspect, who

fled in an unknown
direction with one tablet, according to
authorities.
Cops released surveillance video of
the suspect on Nov. 6

College Point
Search of College Point home leads to bust

A man was arrested in College
Point last week after police found
weapons and drugs in his home.
Authorities say that at 10 a.m.
on Nov. 6, officers from the Queens
North Patrol Borough’s Narcotics
Squad executed a search warrant at
25-year-old Brandon Bryant’s home
on 25th Avenue.
According to the NYPD, the
search allegedly uncovered four
guns, a bullet-resistant vest, ammunition,
narcotics, and cash.
The NYPD did not immediately
disclose why the search warrant
was executed.
Bryant was taken into custody
afterwards and charged with multiple
counts of criminal possession
of a weapon, criminal possession of
a controlled substance and criminal
possession of marijuana.

Jamaica
Jamaica man arrested in shooting death

Police arrested a Jamaica man for
allegedly shooting a man to death on a
neighborhood street last month.
According to the NYPD, at 7:52
p.m. on Oct. 23, police responded to a
911 call regarding a man in front of a
residence on 129th Avenue near 161st
Street. Upon their arrival, officers
found 18-year-old David LaPointe, unconscious
and unresponsive, with a
gunshot wound to the head.
EMS rushed LaPointe to Jamaica
Hospital, where he ultimately died of
his injuries on Oct. 30.
Following an ongoing investigation,
police arrested Tyseam McRae,
18, on Oct. 28. He was charged with attempted
murder, assault and criminal
possession of a loaded firearm.
Sources familiar with the investigation
stated that McRae and LaPointe
did not know each other prior to this
incident.
The investigation is ongoing.

Corona
Police seek trio connected with Corona robbery

Cops are looking a trio who assaulted
and robbed a man of his phone
and shoes in Corona last month.
According to police, at 3:30 p.m. on
Oct. 24, a 21-year-old man was standing
in the vicinity of 105th Street and
34th Avenue when he was approached
by seven unknown men on bicycles.
The suspects proceeded to surround
the victim and asked him what gang
he was in.
The victim tried to flee by running
northbound on 105th Street,
but he was cut off by three unknown
men who were waiting at the corner
of 34th Avenue. The trio tripped and
assaulted the victim, causing pain to
his arms and knees, before fleeing the
scene with the victim’s cellphone and
shoes.
No arrests have been made at this
time. The investigation is ongoing.
The 115th Precinct tweeted out
photos of the suspects taken from
nearby surveillance footage:
“The pictured individuals below
are wanted for Robbery due to forcibly
removing a victim’s cellular
phone and shoes without permission
or authority within the vicinity of
105 Street and 34 Avenue. If spotted
