Pair sought for double-stabbing

Detectives are looking for two
men wanted in connection with an
early-morning double-stabbing on the
streets of Jackson Heights last week.
Police said the violence occurred
at 5 a.m. on June 26 in front of the
Santander Bank at 83-20
Roosevelt Ave.
According to law enforcement
sources, a 49-year-old man and
a 21-year-old man were walking
through the area when they got into
a physical altercation with the two
suspects, whom police described as
Hispanic males.
The argument turned bloody, police
said, when the perpetrators stabbed the
49-year-old man in the abdomen and
the 21-year-old man in the buttocks.
The assailants then fled on foot
eastbound along Roosevelt Avenue,
authorities noted.
Officers from the 110th Precinct and
paramedics responded to the scene.
Paramedics brought both victims to
Elmhurst Hospital, where they were
listed in stable condition.
On June 28, the 110th Precinct
tweeted out an image of the suspects
wanted for the attack.

Astoria
Woman sought for role in diner fight

Cops are looking for a woman
who may know something about an
early-morning brawl that left an
Astoria diner employee injured last
month.
According to police, at 2;30 a.m. on
June 15, an unknown woman got into
an argument with another woman
inside Bel Aire Diner, located at 31-
91 21st St. The fight turned physical,
with one woman throwing a glass
container at the other.
Law enforcement sources said a
34-year-old employee was struck in
the face by the container, causing a
laceration, pain and bleeding.
Authorities said the two women
fled the scene in an unknown
direction. The victim took herself to
a nearby clinic and received three
stitches to the right side of his face.
Police described the person of
interest as a black woman standing
5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 120
pounds. She was last seen wearing a
blue jean jacket and dark pants.

Whitestone
Reported blast injures resident

The Fire Department is investigating
a reported blast in Whitestone
that left one person injured on
Monday morning.
At 9:11 a.m. on July 1, the FDNY
responded to a 911 call regarding a
reported explosion at 17-11 Francis
Lewis Blvd. EMS rushed the victim, who
had suffered from burn-related injuries,
to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi.
A report from the Citizen App said
that the victim was injured after the
fuel tank that they were cleaning had
exploded. The FDNY confirmed that
the incident was initially reported as
an explosion, however they could not
confirm this detail at this time.
The Fire Marshall will determine
the cause of the fire. The investigation
is ongoing.

Forest Hills
Another subway creep strikes

Cops are looking for a
man who was seen touching
himself at a Forest Hills
train station.
Police say that at 7:30
a.m. on June 19, a 41-yearold
woman was waiting on
the R train platform at the
67th Avenue station when
she looked over and saw an
unknown man touching
near his groin area.
The suspect then fled the
station to parts unknown.
The victim was not injured
as a result of this incident.
Cops described the
alleged creep as a black man
between the ages of 30 and 40
years old. He was last seen wearing all
dark clothing. He’s seen on this video
at the station mezzanine.
