Mask-less man sought for punching
bus driver in Midtown for trying to
enforce face covering rule

Cops are looking for a suspect who
punched a bus driver who tried to
enforce the mandatory mask policy
in Midtown.
According to police, at 2:30 a.m. on
July 20, an unknown man tried to get on
a northbound M2 MTA bus in the vicinity
of Madison Avenue and East 29th Street
without a mandatory face covering. When
he was stopped by
the 62-year-old bus
driver, the suspect
punched the driver
in the face.
The suspect then
fled the bus in an
unknown direction.
The victim suffered
pain and swelling and
was taken to NYU
Langone Hospital in
stable condition.
On July 21, the
NYPD released video
of the suspect taken from inside the bus.

Suspect sought for injuring
two in early-morning LES
shooting: NYPD

Cops are looking for a
suspect that injured
two men in a Manhattan
shooting last week.
According to police, at
12:55 a.m. on July 16 an
unknown man was seen
fi ring several shots near
the LaGuardia Houses,
located at 65 Jefferson St.
As a result, a 21-year-old
man was struck in the foot
and a 20-year-old man was
struck in the buttocks.
The first victim was
transported to NYC Health
& Hospitals/Bellevue by
EMS in stable condition,
and the second victim was
transported by private
means to NYC Health &
Hospitals/Harlem, also in
stable condition.

Woman with no signs of trauma
found floating in the East River:

The NYPD is investigating the
death of a woman who was
found fl oating in the East
River on July 20.
Authorities say that at 10:53 p.m.
on July 20, offi cers responded to a 911
call regarding a woman in the water at
Pier 35 near South Street. Upon their
arrival offi cers found an unidentifi ed
adult woman fl oating in the water,
dark complexion and was
last seen wearing a black
sweater with a white stripe
on the left arm and blue
jeans.

unconscious and unresponsive.
The NYPD Harbor Charlie patrol
pulled the victim from the water
and transported her to Pier 17. EMS
responded to the pier and declared
the victim dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for the NYPD said
that the victim had no obvious signs
of trauma. The Medical Examiner
will determine the cause of death.
The investigation remains
ongoing.
Subway creep threatened to stab woman
he molested at Village subway station

Police are looking
for the creep who
recently groped
a woman and then
threatened to stab her
at a Greenwich Village/
SoHo subway station.
The NYPD released
on Thursday video
footage of the suspect
behind the June 21 incident,
which occurred at

According to law enforcement
sources, the suspect
attacked a 48-year-old woman
as she walked up a stairwell,
groping her buttocks twice.
Outside the station, the
woman pulled out her cellphone
and attempted to record the

creep. Police said the suspect
then became belligerent; he attempted
to knock the phone out
of her hands, and then pulled
out a weapon and threatened
to stab her.
The suspect then ran back
into the station and down
to the platform, where he
boarded a Bronx-bound
1 train.
The incident was reported
to the 1st Precinct
and the NYPD Transit
Bureau. The woman was
not injured.
Police did not provide
a physical description of
the groper, who’s shown
on camera wearing a blue
surgical mask around his
chin, a black t-shirt, tan
pants and black sneakers
while carrying a blue
backpack.
