Gunman sought for Three shot in three hours in Harlem
shooting man during

Greenwich Village
Three people were shot and
injured in Harlem in a
dispute: NYPD
span of about three hours,
according to police.
That included a 17-year-old
male shot in the back at the corner
of Frederick Douglass Boulevard
and West 120th Street at about
10:13 p.m. on May 23.
Just before the shooting, law
enforcement sources said, the
victim got into a dispute with an
unidentifi ed male over reasons
that were not disclosed. After
fi ring the shot, the suspect fl ed
the scene on foot in an unknown
direction.
Offi cers from the 28th Precinct
responded to the incident. EMS
brought the victim to Harlem
Hospital, where he was listed in
stable condition.
No arrests have been made in
the case, police said.
A short time later, authorities
said, a fi red gunshot grazed a

Police are looking for a man
who assaulted an Asian
American woman for no
apparent reason in an East Village
subway station.
Authorities say that at 6:40
p.m. on April 28, a 47-year-old
woman was standing on the
southbound platform of the
Second Avenue train station
when she was approached by
an unknown man. The man
proceeded to punch the woman
in the face, causing her to fall to
the ground.
The NYPD stated that the
suspect and victim had no
prior interaction or conversation
beforehand. The suspect then
fl ed the scene in an unknown

Members of the 32nd Precinct

the victim to Harlem Hospital

Nearly an hour later, cops said,
a 21-year-old man took a bullet to
his left calf in front of an apartment
building at 135 West 143rd
St. at about 12:46 a.m. on May 24.
EMS brought the victim to
Harlem Hospital, where he was
listed in stable condition. So far,
police sources said, he has been
uncooperative with detectives
investigating the circumstances
surrounding the shooting
Task Force is investigating the
incident.
The NYPD released a police
sketch of the suspect, who is described
as a 30-year-old man with
a dark complexion, a full beard
and short dark hair, standing 5
feet, 6 inches tall and weighing
180 pounds. He was last seen
wearinga black hat, blue jeans
and white t-shirt.

Detectives in Manhattan need the public’s help in fi nding the
gunman who shot a 32-year-old man in Greenwich Village
during a dispute earlier this month.
The NYPD released on May 22 images of the perpetrator behind
the May 13 shooting, which occurred at about 11:20 p.m. in front
of an apartment building near the corner of Waverly Place and
6th Avenue.

According to law enforcement sources, the victim engaged the
gunman in a verbal dispute for reasons that have yet to be disclosed.
The argument then turned bloody, cops said, when the suspect
pulled out a gun and began fi ring numerous shots at the victim —
striking the man in left wrist, left forearm and groin area.
Following the gunfi re, the perpetrator fl ed the scene on foot in
an unknown direction.
The incident was later reported to the 6th Precinct. Police said
the victim wound up being taken to Bellevue Hospital by private
means for treatment. He was listed in stable condition.
The image that police provided shows the suspect wearing a
black baseball cap and a black mask, along with a black hooded
sweatshirt with a likeness of the Mona Lisa portrait on the front, a
black jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers.
