NOTICE OF A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING of the Franchise and Concession Review Committee and Parks to be held
on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 22 Reade Street, Borough of Manhattan, commencing at 2:30 p.m. relative to:
INTENT TO AWARD as a concession for the renovation, operation and maintenance of a high-quality
restaurant in Battery Park, Manhattan, for a five (5) year term, to The View at Battery Park NYC, Inc.
Compensation under the License Agreement will be as follows: Operating Year 1: 5% of annual Gross
Receipts; Operating Year 2: Minimum annual fee of $120,000 plus 5% of annual Gross Receipts after $3
Million; Operating Year 3: Minimum annual fee of $120,000 plus 5% of annual Gross Receipts after $3 Million;
Operating Year 4: Minimum annual fee of $150,000 plus 5% of annual Gross Receipts after $3 Million; and
Operating Year 5: Minimum annual fee of $150,000 plus 5% of annual Gross Receipts after $3 Million.
A draft copy of the License Agreement may be reviewed or obtained at no cost, commencing on Monday,
March 2, 2020 through Monday, March 9, 2020 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., excluding
weekends and holidays at the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, located at 830 Fifth
Avenue, Room 313, New York, NY 10065.
