AUGUST Pool Party 2018: Another Mega Hit!
BY JILL DAVIS
Ask anyone who went to this year’s adult Pool
Party how it went, and they’ll tell you they had
a great time.
The party, which was organized by Cryder Point Community
Affairs, has quickly become the most anticipated
event of the year. Close to 160 people attended, including
Cryder Point residents and their guests.
The party got started at 6:00 with DJ Billy taking care of
the music. Unsolicited feedback from partygoers gave Billy
kudos for his creative use of music: He not only played all
sorts of danceable party music, but also included a wide
variety of ethnic music from all over the world, which was
a huge hit with everyone.
The Elite staff, led by pool manager Shaun McNally,
did their usual great job of making sure everything was
set up and ready to go. (They also get a special shout-out
for getting things cleaned up and prepped in time for the
next day, which happened to be a Bagel Brunch. Talk about
crunch time!)
The bash wound down at about 11:00, and it’s a safe bet
that everyone is already looking forward to next year’s
party.
“Step one and kick…”
As long as nobody got hurt…
