Message from
the Board President
Welcome to a New Year and a new decade!
By now you’ve received your January
maintenance bill reflecting our 2020 increases
in maintenance and storage unit
fees. For those who didn’t attend December’s
budget meeting, a letter was
enclosed with your January bill that explains
what’s what with the budget, which
was affected primarily by increases in payroll,
real estate taxes and insurance premiums.
Please note that if you receive your bill
via email, the letter was attached as a pdf. If you didn’t receive
the letter, misplaced it or have any questions, please see Stacey
or Bridget in the office.
In addition, information regarding BuildingLink, our new
communications system, was also included with your invoice.
Residents are urged to complete the form which is necessary to
get the service up and running. For your convenience, the form
is also included in this paper; simply follow the instructions.
You can also download the form from the Cryder Point website.
As many of you have learned by now, Dorene Finnegan has
joined the Board to fill the current vacancy left by Phil Resnick,
who resigned late last year. Dorene has been a Cryder Point
shareholder for more than 20 years. Her active involvement in
the community, in addition to her years of experience in banking,
will make her a great asset to the corporation. Dorene’s term
is effective until June, at which time she will be among the candidates
running for election if she so chooses. Please join me in
welcoming Dorene to the Board.
Fun stuff: I hope you enjoy the photos in this issue from December’s
Kids Holiday Party. I’m not sure who enjoys it more,
the kids or resident Joe Lombardo, who once again reprised his
starring role as Santa Claus (from what I’ve heard, if this were
Broadway, he’d be nominated for a Tony). Thanks Joe!
Finally, on behalf of the Board, let me wish all our friends,
neighbors and staff at Cryder Point all the best for a happy and
healthy New Year.
Till next time, Jill Davis
