KIDS HOLIDAY PARTY ROCKS!
WWW.QNS.COM | JANUARY 2019 | CRYDER POINT COURIER 7
It was another fun night for the children of Cryder Point
when they got together for the annual Kids Holiday Party
on Friday, December 14.
There were about 25 kids in all, and lots of them came in
their pajamas--nice and comfy to play games, do arts and
crafts and, best of all, make ice cream sundaes! Some of
the children brought warm hats to donate to kids in need,
a special way to share the holiday spirit.
Naturally, the highlight of the evening was a visit from
Santa. After making his grand entrance, Santa sat with
every kid (and an occasional grown-up) who wanted a
photo op with him.
“The kids had a ball,” Eileen Annechino said. “Santa was
a hit, and the decibel and energy levels in the room were
off the charts.”
Thanks go to the helping hands of CeCe Schob for coordinating
the crafts, and to volunteers Deborah Berg, Mona
Blumenriech, Dorene Finnegan, parents and grandparents
for helping out with the kids. Last, but certainly not least,
a special thank you goes to Santa (aka Joe Lombardo) for
bringing his very special holiday cheer to the festivities.
All in all, it was great time for everyone, and everyone is
looking forward to next year’s party!
