Sketch released of suspect who
groped young girl in Central Park

Police need the public’s help in fi nding
the creep who molested a 9-year-old
girl in Central Park on Memorial
Day.
The NYPD released a sketch of the suspect
involved in the May 25 incident, which
occurred at 3 p.m. in the
vicinity of East Drive and
East 75th Street.
Sources familiar with
the investigation said that
the victim, who was with
her parents at the time, accidentally
fell into a water
area and went over to a
nearby play area to change
her clothing.

Police need the public’s help in fi nding
four individuals who beat up, robbed
and stabbed a 51-year-old man during
an encounter at the Times Square
subway station last week.
Law enforcement sources said the attack
occurred at 10:30 p.m. on May 20 inside
the passageway between the A and 7 trains
at the 42nd Street/Times Square station.
According to authorities, the man was
walking eastbound through the passageway
toward the 7 train when one of the suspects
bumped into him.
Police said the incident sparked a verbal
dispute that turned physical when the
foursome went on the attack, punching and
kicking the man until he fell to the ground.
After dropping the man, cops said,
one of the suspects pulled out a knife
and stabbed the victim in the pelvis, then
removed his cellphone.
Following the stabbing, the assailants
fl ed the scene in an unknown direction.

The incident was reported to the Central
Park Precinct. The child suffered no
injuries.
Police described the suspect as a
25-year-old man with a light complexion,
standing between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5
feet, 9 inches tall, and weighing between
150 and 160 pounds. He
was last seen wearing a
blue surgical mask, a
black hooded sweatshirt
and black sweatpants.

Police did not provide a physical description
of the suspects. Video footage released
on May 21 shows the perpetrators entering
the subway system through an emergency
gate.

Suspect sought for beating a
homeless man with a metal
object in Kips Bay: NYPD

Cops are looking for a suspect
who beat up a homeless man
on a Kips Bay street.
Police say that at 1:10 a.m. on
May 17, a 69-year-old homeless man
was laying down in front of a building
on East 33rd Street near 1st Avenue
when he was approached by an
unknown man. The man proceeded
to strike the victim multiple times in
the head, body and arm with a metal
object.
The suspect then fled the scene
westbound on 33rd Street. The victim
was taken to NYC Health &
Hospitals/Bellevue for a laceration
to the head, bruises and broken arm.

Homeless suspects cuffed
for W. Village package thefts

Two homeless people
were arrested in the
West Village after
they were caught swiping
packages from an apartment
building.
According to police, at
1:04 a.m. on May 20, offi
cer George McFall was
off-duty and headed home
when he saw 35-year-old
Tatiana Williams and
30-year-old Devon Tally

then allegedly saw the suspects
taking packages that
belonged to a 32-year-old
male, a 25-year-old female
and a 32-year old male
without permission.
When Williams and
Tally fl ed the scene, Offi cer
McFall followed and alerted
the 6th Precinct. Offi cers
responded to the scene
and apprehended Williams
in front of 308 West 11th
Street and Tally in front of
304 West 11th Street. The
packages were recovered
from the suspects.
Williams and Tally were
charged with two counts of
burglary each, possession of
burglary tools, criminal trespassing
and criminal possession
of stolen property. Tally
was also charged with petit
larceny and obstructing governmental
administration.
Police Commissioner
Dermot Shea praised the
offi cers on Twitter for their
work.
“Always out there. Always
protecting,” Shea tweeted on
May 26. “Off-duty & on his
way home, @NYPD6Pct Offi
cer McFall observed a pair
of thieves stealing packages
from a #WestVillage lobby.
After a quick call for help
& a brief foot pursuit, he
& Offi cer Fabrizio had the
burglars in handcuffs.”
