Bigot hurled anti-Asian slurs
at Manhattan subway rider

Cops need the public’s help in fi nding a
hateful commuter who hurled anti-Asian
remarks at a train rider in Manhattan,
then attempted to smack her cellphone away
when the victim tried to record it.
Police released on Sunday images of the
suspect behind the incident, which occurred at
7:45 a.m. on May 15 on board a Brooklyn-bound
F train near the Delancey Street station on the
Lower East Side.
According to law enforcement sources, the
bigoted rider approached the victim and uttered
anti-Asian statements toward her. The victim
then pulled out her cellphone camera and began
recording the tirade.
Realizing that she was on camera, cops said,
the suspect began striking the victim’s phone
repeatedly.
Moments later, authorities said, another
passenger on the train intervened. The victim
departed the F train at the East Broadway stop,
while the suspect remained on board before
fl eeing later.
The incident was reported to the 7th Precinct
and NYPD Transit Bureau 4. The victim was not
physically injured.

woman between 40 and 45 years of age who
was last seeing wearing a black mask over her
face, a black jacket and a gray shirt.

Motorcyclist dies of injuries after
crashing on the Henry Hudson
Parkway in Manhattan

A man died of his injuries after he
crashed his motorcycle in Manhattan
last month.
Police say that at 8:35 a.m. on April 19,
the NYPD responded to a 911 call regarding
a motor vehicle collision involving a
motorcycle on the Henry Hudson Parkway
in the vicinity of West 120 Street. Upon
their arrival, offi cers found 58-year-old
Sean Stanton lying in the roadway
with trauma to his body.
An investigation found that
Stanton was operating an orange
2003 Suzuki SV1000 motorcycle
and going northbound on the
Henry Hudson Parkway in the left
lane. After he passed West 120th
Street, Stanton struck the rear left
bumper of a black 2013 Lexus
com, or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
RX350 sedan, operated by a 34-year-old
man.
Upon impact, the motorcycle slid across
two lanes of traffi c and ejected Stanton,
who came to rest in the right travel lane.
The driver of the Lexus was not injured
and remained at the scene.
EMS rushed Stanton to Mount Sinai
Saint Luke’s Hospital, where he succumbed
to his injuries on May 3.
The investigation is ongoing.

stabbing on the Lower East
Side that left one man injured
early Monday morning.
Authorities say that at 1:14 a.m.
on May 18, EMS personnel were at
109 Delancey St. helping a man with
diffi culty breathing when they were
approached by a 23-year-old man who
had a stab wound to his chest. The

Cops searching for woman who shot
a man’s leg on a Manhattan street

Cops are looking for a suspect
who shot a man in
the leg in Manhattan on
Friday morning.
Authorities say that at 8:42
a.m. on May 15, the NYPD responded
to a 911 call regarding
victim had been stabbed in front of
a nearby McDonald’s, located at 114
Delancey St.
EMS treated the victim and rushed
him to Bellevue Hospital, where he is
listed in critical condition. The NYPD
was notifi ed and is conducting an
investigation.
No weapons were recovered from
the scene and no arrests have been
made at this time. The investigation
is ongoing.

Sources familiar with the investigation
say that the victim was involved in a dispute
with an unknown woman, who is described
as Hispanic, who ultimately shot the victim
in the leg before fl eeing the scene in an
unknown vehicle.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital
in stable condition. No arrests have been
