Masked man swipes cash from
laundromat in Manhattan
talking on his cellphone, moments before a 31-yearold
male worker confronted him.
The two men are engaged in an animated conversation
when, seconds later, the crook reaches into his
jacket and pulls out a silver fi rearm. At that point,
cops said, he demanded cash from the victim.
Law enforcement agents said the worker complied
with the request and handed over $614 in currency
to the suspect, who exited the laundromat and fl ed
northbound on Lexington Avenue.
Offi cers from the 13th Precinct responded to the
incident. No injuries were reported.
As shown in the video, the robber wore a black
baseball cap with the word HIP HOP written in
white letters as well as a black mask, a black hooded
sweatshirt, a black bubble jacket, white latex gloves,
dark-colored pants and black sneakers.
He’s also pictured carrying a navy blue backpack
with the letters DAX written in white on it.

Thief whacks man with
metal rod while robbing
him in Manhattan: cops

Cops are looking for a thief who robbed a newspaper stand
employee in Manhattan after hitting him with a metal rod.
Authorities say that at 12:50 p.m. on April 18, a 66-year-old
male newspaper stand employee was outside of 137 Centre Street when
he was approached by an unknown man who demanded his property.
When the victim refused, the suspect hit him in the head with a metal rod.
The suspect then swiped the victim’s cellphone and keys before
fl eeing the scene. The victim suffered a fracture and lacerations to his
head and was taken to New York Downtown Hospital for treatment.

Cops search for bigot who
tried to pull an Asian man
off the 4 train in Manhattan

Cops are looking for a bigot
who tried to drag an Asian
passenger off of a subway in
Manhattan.
Police say that at 5:30 a.m. on May
3, a 30-year-old man was riding the
4 train near the 59th Street subway
station when an unknown man began
to make anti-Asian statements
at him. The suspect then grabbed
the victim by the right wrist and
shoulder and attempted to pull him
off of the train.
The suspect then fl ed the scene in
an unknown direction. The victim
was uninjured and refused medical
attention at the scene.
Later that day, the NYPD released
a photo and video of the suspect
taken on the train.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic
man with a light complexion.

Detectives are looking for the gun-toting crook
who held up a Manhattan laundromat last
week.
Cops said the stickup occurred at 5 p.m. on April
29 inside the laundromat located at 137 Lexington
Ave. in Kips Bay.

Man violently stabs foe following dispute
at Penn Station subway platform: cops

Cops in Midtown Manhattan are looking for
the knife-wielding assailant who brutally
stabbed a 33-year-old man during an argument
inside Penn Station last week.
The NYPD released on May 4 video footage of
the suspect involved in the attack that occurred at
4 p.m. on April 30 on an A train platform.
According to authorities, the victim was minding
his own business while sitting on a platform
bench when the perpetrator approached and
embroiled him in an argument.
The verbal dispute turned bloody, police reported,
when the suspect pulled out a knife and
stabbed the victim several times in the torso.
Following the knifi ng, the attacker fl ed out of
the station in an unknown direction.
Offi cers from the Midtown South Precinct,
NYPD Transit Bureau 2 and EMS units responded
to the incident. Paramedics brought the
victim to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed
in serious but stable condition.
Cops described the assailant as a black man
between 20 and 30 years of age, who was seen
wearing all dark clothing.
The video footage shows the suspect exiting
through a subway turnstile, wearing a gray
sweater.
