 Prime  Minister  Dr.  Keith  
 Rowley  has  congratulated  
 the  Trinidad  and  Tobago  
 Knight  Riders  (TKR)  on  
 their  remarkable  achievement  
 by  winning  their  historic  
 fourth  championship  
 title on Thursday, Sept. 10 at  
 the  Brian  Lara  Cricket  Stadium  
 in South Trinidad. 
 The  TKR  defeated  the  St.  
 Lucia  Zouks  in  the  final  by  
 two wickets. 
 In a video posted on social  
 media, Dr. Rowley  said,  “My  
 heartiest congratulations  to  
 the  TKR.  Amazing  champions  
 once again and I want to  
 congratulate all the organizers  
 of this tournament, both  
 local and international! And  
 my congratulations goes too  
 to  Shah  Rukh  Khan  (Bollywood  
 mega  star) wherever  
 you are, we’ve won again.” 
 Dr.  Rowley  called  the  
 tournament  “a  pretty  good  
 one.” 
 “It didn’t have the best of  
 every  component  but  it  had  
 a  lot  of  other  good  cricket  
 and it is a good lifter of our  
 spirits  here  in  Trinidad  and  
 Tobago,”  he  said.  “And  our  
 country was on show for the  
 last  three  and  half  weeks  
 thereabout, and I think everything  
 went very well from  
 that standpoint.” 
 TKR’s  owner  Shah  Rukh  
 Khan  also  lauded  players  
 such a Lendl Simmons, Darren  
 Bravo,  Captain  Kieron  
 Pollard  and  Dwayne  Bravo  
 as  well  as  TKR’s  coach,  
 Brendon  McCallum  after  
 TKR  clinched  their  fourth
