programs packed with gallery talks, art
activations, and family fun. Visitors are
also welcome to explore all five floors

Friday, Sept.10, 7–9 pm Biergarten
Tickets start at $15 and include after-hours
admission to The Slipstream. Sip and
sketch in our backyard Biergarten with a
special pay-what-you-wish edition of our
outdoor series of life drawing classes. The
class is open to all levels and accompanied
by a refreshing beverage and musical vibes
by local DJs. Visitors are invited to sketch
from live models, learn more about our
newest contemporary art exhibition The
Slipstream: Reflection, Resilience, and
Resistance in the Art of Our Time, and
experiment with materials in a casual class

2ND ANNIVERSARY SHOW: New
York Modular Society is so excited to wrap
up the Summer kicking off Labor Day
weekend with a Friday night party featuring
an onslaught of stupidly talented artists
performing their hearts out. 6 talented
and electrifying electronic music acts will
take the stage to play various genres of
electronic music live using modular synthesizers.
Expect to hear the likes of IDM,
techno, industrial, darkwave, modbap,
hiphop and much more. Performances by
DJ Cherish the Luv, Nancy (Not Her Real
Name), Only Ruin, Saddle Up the Robots,
Ben the Glorious Bastard, and Dysonent.

is an outdoor backyard event. COVID
