 West  Indies  fast  bowler  Kemar  
 Roach four-wicket first innings haul  
 in the third Test at Old Trafford last  
 month has seen him gain one place  
 in the latest International Cricket  
 Council’s Test bowling rankings. 
 The 32-year-old fast bowler, leader  
 of the West Indies pace attack, now  
 lies 15th and is one of three players  
 in the top 20. 
 Roach finished with four for 72 in  
 England’s total of 369 all out, becoming  
 the ninth West Indies bowler and  
 the first in 26 years to reach 200 Test  
 wickets. 
 The Barbadian finished the three- 
 Test series with eight wickets as West  
 Indies lost the final Test by 269 runs  
 to  concede  the  thee-match  series  
 2-1.C

 England and the West Indies will  
 compete for a new Richards-Botham  
 Trophy when they next meet in a Men’s  
 Test series to pay tribute to two of  
 their greatest players whose rivalry and  
 friendship embodies the close relationship  
 and mutual respect between the  
 two sides. 
 The third Test of the #Raise the Bat  
 Series, which ended last week was the  
 last time the two sides competed for the  
 Wisden Trophy, the England and Wales  
 Cricket Board (ECB) has announced. In

 IPL shifts to  
 the UAE

 The  2020  Indian  Premier  League  
 (IPL) will be played in the United Arab  
 Emirates (UAE) between September 19  
 and Nov. 19 this year. 
 It  is  mow  official  that  the  tournament  
 will  be  played  in  the  UAE.  The  
 Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) said this  
 week that subject to Government clearances  
 the tournament will take place. 
 The IPL, Governing Council Chairman, 
   Brijesh  Patel,  said  that  the  final  
 would be played on Nov. 8 or 10, with a  
 definite decision expected soon. 
 Patel  said  recently  that  Dubai,  Abu  
 Dhabi and Sharjah will be the three  
 main venues for the tournament. 
 One key advantage of having the  
 tournament  in  the  UAE  is  that  the  
 quarantine  period  is  less  relaxed. Cur-
