French-Caribbean-born singer
Adeline has dropped “Inté rimes,” a
highly-anticipated follow-up to her
2018 debut LP, “Adeline,” according
to Vogue.
“Inté rimes allows her velvety
vocals to shine throughout a sundry
mix of exuberant soul-pop tracks,
such as shimmering breakup ballad
‘Twilight’ and disco-inflected dance
number ‘After Midnight,’” said the
magazine on July 10.
“Due to being in a band for so
long and not being in control of
the musical decisions, I unleashed
a beast after going solo,” the New
York-based Adeline, who previously
fronted disco-dance group Escort for
over a decade, of how she’s evolving
as an artist, told Vogue.
“With Intérimes, the beast has
gotten over its tantrum (partially)
and sat down for a minute,” added the
Martiniquan. “Once I got all of these

One thing the coronavirus (COVID-
19) cannot stop is carnival, according
to the South Florida Caribbean News
(SFCN).
“And, as cities gradually roll out
their re-opening plans, people who
have been locked in for the past three
months are more than ready to move to
music and party,” SFCN said on Tuesday.
“Socaphiles are no different, and as
they gear up for their virtual or real life
soca fetes.”
Therefore, SFCN said “Touch” by Jus
D is “ready for every soca set.”
Compliments of the Soca Gold 2020
compilation, “Touch” is the first single
from the annual collection, “and Jus D
is the artist giving us the clever lyrics,”
SFCN said.
