As cities around the country
re-open following being on
lock down due to the pandemic,
restaurants are working hard to
bring guests back for live entertainment
and a tasty meal. On
July 6 at Renaissance Harlem restaurant
and lounge in New York
City, producer and influencer Roz
Nixon hosted her Re-Mix Birthday
party. Said Nixon, “My birthday
was in April, but because of
restrictions and social distancing,
it would have been difficult
to celebrate.” Performers at the
Re-Mix included Letrice Arlene
and Jared Wayne Gladly, who
were joined onstage by members
of the LV Project Band – Victor
Wise, Tony Stevenson, and Daryl
Johnson. Renaissance co-owners
Ali Chek and Chef Cisse greeted
guests who included radio host/
party promoter Wayne Maxwell
and Manhattan Borough President
Gale Brewer.
