MEET REGINA EDWARDS
DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY

Regina Edwards is a mother, healthcare
professional, and lifelong Brooklynite
running for New York City Council in
District 36.
Regina learned the value of hard work
and the importance of family early in life
from her parents. Her mother, Aggie, was
a domestic worker, foster parent, and
advocate for the Ebbets Field Housing
Complex. Her father, John, was a U.S.
Postal worker and a train conductor for
the MTA.
For the past 20 years, Regina has worked
in the healthcare field where she is
currently the Coordinating Manager of the
pharmacy department at Kings County
Hospital.
Regina attended Norman Thomas High
School and earned a Bachelor's Degree
in Health Administration from
Metropolitan College of New York. She
currently lives in the Bed-Stuy
neighborhood of Brooklyn, where she has
resided for more than 30 years following
in the footsteps of her mother by raising
her 3 biological and 5 adopted children.
