and the stellar cast of “Misbehaviour”
at its world premiere in London
on Monday evening, as Pure
Grenada, the Spice of the Caribbean
heralded the movie for its
portrayal of a defining moment in
history: the crowning of the first
woman of color as Miss World.
Jennifer Hosten, whose barrierbreaking
Miss World story is told
in the movie, was joined by special

Atlanta Love & Hip Hop cast member,
Spice will be honored with the
official title “Queen of Dancehall”
during the 28th rendition of Reggae
Sumfest 2020.

Trinidadian soca artiste Anslem Douglas,
the original singer of the Grammy
Award-winning song “Who Let the Dogs
Out,” is chilling out on Sundays in hosting
a new show, “Chill Sundays with
Anslem Douglas.”
Douglas told Caribbean Life on Monday
that the event, which started on
March 1, takes place every Sunday
evening at the American Legion, 1130 E
92nd St., Brooklyn.
He said he and his band provide live
entertainment, with music by DJ Sugars
and House DJ.
“There is open mic every evening,”
Douglas said. “The open mic is geared
to provide a platform for individuals with
talent looking for a forum to show it off
and develop as a budding artiste.
