In 2014, Stephen Rosenbluth and his wife opened Anchor Down just
off the South Shore, pairing Rosenbluth’s love for cooking and fishing
with a light, comfortable and casual atmosphere. Rosenbluth’s wife
thought of the name. She assumed that if they named it Anchor Down
that they’d stick around, and they’re still here. Rosenbluth has helmed
the kitchen in several notable Manhattan restaurants and seafood
markets, spent summers working as a fisherman in Montauk and now
serves creative, locally sourced seafood fare. Located on the East Bay,
