PAL SUMMER PROGRAMS
Bronx boys and girls joined hundreds of children at the Police Athletic League’s Harlem Center
on Tuesday, July 16 in celebration of PAL’s Summer Programs occuring throughout the
city. Youngsters enjoyed summertime fun and games, including rock climbing, nok hockey,
tug-of-war, arts and crafts, sports and more.

NYC PARKS REVITALIZES PARKWAY MEDIAN
Councilman Mark Gjonaj thanked the NYC Department of Parks for cleaning the Bronx and
Pelham Parkway median.

BUILD THE BLOCK COUNTRY CLUB/PEL BAY MEETING
The 45th Precinct Neighborhood Coordination Offi cers Sector B hosted a Build the Block
Country Club and Pelham Bay Meeting on Thursday, July 25 at St. Theresa School’s gymnasium
for residents to express their quality of life concerns.
