Warrior Youth Football
program holds registration
Warrior Chief, Jay
Demers invites all boys
and girls ages 5 to 13 to
come out and play Warrior
Football.
Other leagues in
the area have ended,
but the Warriors Youth
Football program will
go into their 68 year in
2019 with high hopes of
serving the youth of the
Bronx.
They will be accepting
registrations on line
at www.bronxwarriorsfootball.
com anytime
and will hold in-person
registrations at the football
fi eld every Tuesday
and Thursday until
Thursday, June 13, from
6 to 7 p.m.
They will add two
Saturdays for registration,
June 22 and June
29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All divisions are monitored
by adult coaches
and administrators who
are all volunteers.
All coaches and administrator
are certifi ed
by the National Youth
Sports Coaches Association
(NYSCA).
The Warrior program
is intramural and
uses as a guideline the
Pop Warner rules and
safety procedures, which
are widely considered the
best in the country.
All practices and
games are held at Rice
Stadium in Pelham Bay
Park, which has a large
parking area.

2019 New Era Pinstripe
Bowl December 27th
The New Era Pinstripe
Bowl announced
that the 2019 game will
be played on Friday, December
27 at 3:20 p.m. at
Yankee Stadium.
This year will mark
the 10th edition of the
game and the sixth consecutive
New Era Pinstripe
Bowl to feature
competitors from the
Big Ten and ACC Conferences.
This year’s bowl
game will be nationally
televised by ESPN and
broadcast nationally and
locally by ESPN Radio.
Tickets will go on sale
to the general public later
this summer at www.
pinstripebowl.com and
www.ticketmaster.com.
Established in 2010,
the New Era Pinstripe
Bowl has featured many
memorable moments in
recent college football
history.
‘New York’s Bowl
Game’ is played at the
world-renowned Yankee
Stadium, which is home
to the New York Yankees,

sporting, cultural and
