Cops located a missing Six-year-old
boy who vanished along with a stolen
car in Canarsie on Monday.
Rondald Mowatt was in the backseat
of a white Acura parked on Avenue
L near E. 96th Street at 1:15 pm,
when a thief sat down in the driver’s
seat and drove off with both the SUV
and the youngster, according to police.
Investigators found the youngster
safe and sound in Brownsville at 3
pm, still in the backseat of the stolen
vehicle, which was also recovered,
cops said.
The suspect remains at large, and
the investigation is ongoing, according
to police.
Anyone who provides police with
information leading to an arrest can
expect up to a $2,500 reward through
the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers program.
