A gunman opened fire on
a group of teenagers filming
a rap video in Marine
Park on last week.
The shooter fired several
rounds from a black
SUV as the teens filmed
their music video in front
of an Avenue S candy
store near E. 36th Street
at 7:40 p.m. on July 30, according
to police.
No one was injured as
a result of the drive by
shooting, although a car
parked nearby was damaged
in the attack, cops
said.
Marine Parkers took
to Facebook to discuss the
shooting, where a witness
claims one of the teen rappers
returned fire.
“Looks like one of the
kids on the scene with the
video actually returned
fire. White car fleeing
was related to video
folks while black SUV
was instigator of shots
fired. Both cars ended
up boxing in bus on either
side before fleeing.
It’s lucky no one was injured
thankfully,” Kathy
LaSorsa wrote on the
“You’re Probably from
Marine Park Brooklyn
if...” Facebook group.
No arrests have been
made in the case, which
remains ongoing, cops
said.
