Morris Park Business Improvement District
Partnering with NYC Department of Parks and Recreation for Culture and Art in Morris Park
The Morris Park BID is grateful to the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, specifically the Bronx Recreation division,
for organizing this fall a series of arts and culture themed events in Loreto Playground, within the MPBID district. On
Saturday, October 24, 2020, children enjoyed a “Fall Art Workshop”, under the guidance of the Art Students’ League artist
Jon Bunge. The MPBID encouraged the young artists with goodie bags with art supplies, sanitizers, masks and sweet treats
after their hard work. We even enjoyed a visit by the Bronx Parks Commissioner Iris Rodriguez-Rosa that saw the young
artists in action. MPBID thanks all families for their participation!
The MPBID is especially grateful to the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation for their programming in Morris Park!
