On Sept. 10, the Theodore Korony
American Legion Post Family was
able to have our Christian Engeldrum
“Support The Troops” fundraiser.
With fewer participants to allow more
space we made individual snack bags
with chips, chocolates, hand sanitizer
and pens. We also created a memorial
table to honor our 13 fallen heroes
who recently died in Afghanistan, and
from all wars as well as those we lost
on 9/11.
It was a great night and this year’s
award recipients were John Cerini,
The Bronx Tax Man, The Sam Young
American Legion Post 620 and Anthony
Ferrara, our 16-year-plus Bingo
caller.
