Westchester BID holds annual meeting

On Friday, June 25, the Westchester
Square BID held its annual
meeting virtually. Highlights of the
meeting included keynote speaker,
former PD chief of the department
Terrence Monahan, who is now
Mayor Bill de Blasio’s senior advisor
for Recovery Safety Planning. He
discussed several issues including
homelessness and the problem with
illegal ATVs and dirt bikes. The city
is now offering a $100 reward for information
leading to the confi scation
of these vehicles.
At the meeting, the BID also

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA),
as federal lead agency, the New York State
Department of Transportation (NYSDOT),
as joint lead agency, and the New York City
Department of Transportation (NYCDOT), as
project sponsor and joint lead agency, are
preparing an Environmental Impact Statement
(EIS) for the Shore Road Bridge over Hutchinson
River Project (the Project) located in the Bronx,
New York. The purpose of the Project is to
modal users, including marine vessels, of the
Shore Road Bridge over the Hutchinson River.
The FHWA, NYSDOT, and NYCDOT invite
the public to participate in one or both of
the Scoping Meetings for the Project. Both
provide project information, answer questions,
an assistive listening system or any other
accommodations to facilitate participation in the
to ShoreRoadBridgeBX@dot.nyc.gov. Please
