
CITYMD opens new urgent care center in Mott Haven

CityMD, the leading urgent
care provider in the metropolitan
area, announced
Monday the opening of a new
site at 571 East 138th Street in
Mott Haven.
The latest CityMD marks
the 14th in the Bronx and
137th CityMD in total. The
Mott Haven facility is also a
CityMD Virtual Line location.

CityMD will support the
emergency medical needs of
families in Mott Haven and
nearby communities with
convenient weekday and
weekend hours, as well as
self-check-in kiosks. The new
location also has on-site stateof
the-art technology, which
include X-ray and EKG machinery.
It also provides convenient
on-site parking for patients.

and other appointments.
After visits, patients
can also send bill payments,
view their statements, update
their information and even
submit questions through CityMD’s
secure online portal.
Doctors at CityMD treat
people for many things, including
treatment for upper
respiratory infections, colds
and fl u (including the fl u vaccine),
asthma, allergies, minor
lacerations, sore throats,
insect bites and rashes,
among other conditions. They
can diagnose and treat pink
eye, croup, minor orthopedic
injuries, and nosebleeds.
Rapid testing for fl u, strep
throat, mononucleosis, UTIs
and other conditions are also
among available services.
CityMD offers three forms
of COVID-19 testing at all locations:
Rapid, PCR (Nasal
Swab) and Serum Antibody
IgG (Blood Test). The average
turnaround time for PCR lab
results is 15 minutes for the
Rapid Test, fi ve to seven days
for the PCR test and three to
fi ve days for the Serum Antibody
IgG Test.
CityMD has more than 130
medical centers across the New
York metro area. Each CityMD
location is staffed primarily
by board-certifi ed emergency
medicine doctors. CityMD accepts
most insurance.
