The victim told police the villain
followed him and two friends to the

him in the hand and elbow.

A bruiser randomly stabbed a
man in the back at an Avenue V public
housing complex on May 16.
The victim told police he was in
the lobby of the building between
Stillwell Avenue and W. 11th Street
visiting his girlfriend around 5:45
a when he was stabbed in the lower
back by someone he did not see.
Party pooper
A bandit napped a bottle of Dom
Perignon and a sound system from
an Ocean Parkway apartment on
May 14.
The victim told police he returned
to him his home between
Beach Walk and Brighton Beach avenue
to fi nd it disheveled around 11
am and $6,020 worth of items missing.

Room raiders
A couple of savages stole over
$13,000 from a woman’s 17th Avenue
on May 13.
The victim told police she fi rst
ran into the ruffi ans on her street
and forced her to take to her home
between 81st and 84th streets
around9 am where they stole her
money.
Identity theft
A brigand nabbed $1,000 and a
green card from a pedestrian walking
on. 78th Street on May 13.
The victim told police the highway
robber fi rst punched him at the
intersection of New Utrecht Avenue
and said “give me your money”
around 1:20 am before taking his belongings.
Near-Ax murder
A goon stole $400 from a man sitting
in his car parked on Bay 17th
street on May 13.
The victim told police the brute
threatened him with an ax when he
was in his car between Benson Avenue
and 86th Street around 4:20 am
before giving him the money out of
his own pocket.

Cops arrested a man they say
stabbed an acquaintance in the
back at his Bridge Street home on
May 10.
The victim told cops that, near
Prospect Street at 11:30 pm, the two
got into a fi ght and the suspect allegedly
knifed him from behind.
The victim walked himself
to Methodist Hospital for treatment
and cops arrived at the scene
around 1:10 am and cuffed the suspect
on felony assault charges.
Terrible trio
A posse of ne’er-do-wells held up
a man at gunpoint on the F-train
near York Street station on May 16.
The victim told police that, on
the Coney Island-bound train at 8:30
am, two menaces sat down next to
him while a third guarded the door,
as one of them shook him down.
The man handed over his phone
and $60 and the three prowlers
bolted out of the train at the Dumbo
station, according to police reports.
Hit the road!
A man fought off a would-be carjacker
at Pierrepont Street on May
10.
The victim told cops that he left
his vehicle parked with his girlfriend
in the passenger seat while
running into the bank near Cadman
Plaza W. at 10:25 am, and while
he was out his beau called him saying
a criminal was trying to steal
the car.
The man ran back and caught the
brute in the act, which caused the
two to fi ght it out, before the bandit
bolted with the guy’s keys, according
to cops.
Double trouble
A pair of thieves ambushed a guy
on Albee Square W. on May 14.
The victim told police that, at 8:20
pm near Willoughby Street, the two
curs threatened to slash him if he
didn’t hand over his phone, before
they ran away toward Gold Street.
Bodega brawl
Some goon punched a guy at a
Fourth Avenue bodega on May 14.
The victim told police that, at
10:10 pm between Atlantic Avenue
and Pacifi c Street, the fi st-fl inging
nogoodnik socked him in the face
and fl ed on a bike toward Atlantic
Avenue.
Hot case!
Looters raided a Front Street taco
restaurant on the night of May 14.
The victims told police that, near
Pearl Street and between 10 pm–11
am the next morning, the purloiners
got in through the side door and took
the cash register, tip jar, and a tablet.

Carjacker!
A gun-toting reprobate highjacked
a guy’s car on Adelphi Street
on May 13.
The victim told police that, while
sitting in his vehicle between Park
and Myrtle avenues at 10:10 am, the
lawbreaker got in from the passenger
door and told him, “Get out or
I’m going to shoot you,” while pointing
a silver gun at him.
The victim got out and the pirate
drove off, cops said.
Strike!
Some brute smacked a guy with
a bat at a Fulton Street liquor store
on May 10.
The victim told cops that, at
Saint Felix Street at 7:30 pm, the villain
swung the stick at his hand.
Blocked!
A wretch hit a guy with a brick at
Fleet Walk on May 12.
The victim told police that, near
Tillary and Prince streets at 9 am,
the brute hit his wrist with the cinder
block.

The roof of a Coney Island
power plant went up in fl ames on
Thursday morning, sending dozens
of fi refi ghters rushing to the
scene as plumes of black smoke
fi lled the morning sky.
The inferno broke out at a twostory
building housing a steam
power plant at 2701 W. Sixth St,
and around 100 FDNY smoke eaters
were battling the two-alarm
blaze by 9:17 am.
Onlookers watched in awe as
the thick black fumes rose high
into the sky, becoming visible
from miles away, according to
video shared on the Citizen app.

The FDNY remained at the
power plant between Shore Parkway
and Neptune Avenue for over
an hour — saying the fi re was “under
control” at around 10:28 am.
No injuries were reported during
the incident, according to authorities,
who said the blaze was
mostly localized to the building’s
roof rather than inside the structure.
The cause of the fi re remains
unclear, and an investigation is
pending.
