A knife-toting villain stole a pair
of shoes from an Atlantic Avenue
department store on Jan. 29.
A store employee told police that,
near Boerum Place at 7:10 pm, the
bandit took the footwear and tried
to leave without paying.
When the worker tried to stop
him, the bad guy threatened him
with a blade, before pedaling off on
his bike toward Court Street, according
to police reports.
Rough and tumble
Some yahoo tried to rob a restaurant
worker on Henry Street on Jan
31.
The victim told cops that, between
Middagh and Cranberry
streets at 7:55 am, he was about to
open the Italian eatery when the
rogue ambushed him with a knife
demanding money.
The two scuffl ed before the nogoodnik
hightailed it on Middagh
Street to Columbia Heights, according
to the authorities.
Cut it out
A shoplifter threatened clothing
store workers with a knife at the
Fulton Mall on Jan. 26.
A store employee told police that,
between Duffi eld and Bridge streets
at 4 pm, the reprobate tried to bag
a jacket and hoodie, when security
locked the front door to stop him
from leaving.
The wretch pulled out a boxcutter
and said, “Someone better open this
door before someone gets sliced,”
but then decided to fl ee through
the back door toward Willoughby
Street, according to police.
His own mother!
Police are on the hunt for a some
scumbag who choked and robbed
his mom at their Sands Street home
on Jan. 27.
The victim told cops that, at
Navy Street at 6:10 pm, she got into
a war of words with her offspring,
which escalated when he choked
her, slammed her to the ground,
stole her phone, and fl ed the apartment.
Gunning for cash
An armed rustler robbed a Flatbush
Avenue bank on Jan. 28.
A teller told police that, at Nevins
Street just before 3 pm, the villain
waltzed in and said, “Hurry
up this is a hold up, hurry I need
hundreds,” while threatening the
worker with a silver handgun.
He bagged $1,000 and fl ed toward
Barclays Center, police said.

Some brute hit and mugged a
woman on Adelphi Street on Jan.
27.
The victim told police that, between
Greene and Lafayette avenues
at 4 pm, the lout hit her arm
and snatched her purse.
Snack attack
A knife-brandishing couple
stole snacks from a Flatbush Avenue
Ext. store in the early hours of
Jan. 27.
An employee told cops that, at
Fulton Street around 3:10 am, the
man and woman took a bag of cookies
and a pack of taquitos.
When the victim tried to stop
the nogoodniks, they threatened
to kill him with a pocket knife and
fl ed the scene, according to police.
Unfriended
Police are searching for two villains
that robbed a friend of theirs
blind at knifepoint at Auburn Place
on Jan. 29.
The victim told police that, between
N. Portland Avenue and
St Edwards Street at noon, his
friend and a woman came over
to collect stuff, but the three got
into a fight and one of the attackers
hit the victim in the face, before
stealing his phone, wallet,
and keys.
Lobby looter
A package pirate nabbed several
boxes from an Adelphi Street building
on Jan. 16.
The victim told cops that, between
Flushing and Park avenues
and between 1-5:30 pm, the sneak
thief cracked the lock to get into
the vestibule and took a package of
sneakers, children’s clothes, and
cosmetics.

Elder abuse
Cops cuffed a woman for allegedly
shoving a 70-year-old woman
inside a BJ’s on Shore Parkway on
Jan. 30.
The elderly victim told police
that the 46-year-old stranger pushed
her head and injured her left eye at
noon inside the store north of Bay
38th Street. Authorities removed
the woman to Coney Island Hospital
for treatment, cops said.
Knife knave
Some lowlife slashed a man with
a switchblade on 77th Street on Jan.
26.
The victim told police that the attacker
slashed his left forearm inside
a home between 17th and 18th
avenues at 1:30 am. The assailant
then ran out of the house before
police arrived and transported the
victim to Maimonides Medical Center
for treatment, according to authorities.
Big burglary
A bandit swiped $28,000 from a
woman’s W. 12th Street apartment
on Jan. 25.
The victim told cops that the burglar
somehow snuck into her home
near Avenue P at around 10 am and
nabbed some jewelry along with the
huge wads of cash.
Bad customer
A crook ordered delivery only
to steal the delivery man’s bike on
72nd Street on Jan. 30.
The victim told police he was
delivering a taco order between
17th and 16th avenues at 10:55 pm
when the customer brandished
and knife and said, “Give me your
bike” before riding off on the $1,700
ride .

Two people were critically
injured, and four others were
wounded, in an early-morning
crash in Brooklyn on Sunday involving
a speeding sedan and an
MTA bus, police reported.
The incident happened at about
3:28 am on Jan. 31 at the corner
of Rockaway Avenue and Linden
Boulevard in Brownsville.
According to police, a Kia sedan,
operated by a 25-year-old
woman with two men riding along
in passenger seats, blew a red
light while traveling at a high rate
of speed westbound along Linden
Boulevard.
The vehicle then slammed into
a B60 bus traveling southbound
along Rockaway Avenue. Just two
people were riding the bus with
the driver at the time of the crash.
Offi cers from the 73rd Precinct
and EMS units responded to the
scene. First responders removed
the injured driver and her two
passengers from the Kia sedan.
Paramedics rushed them to
nearby Brookdale University Hospital.
The driver and a 20-year-old
man riding in the rear passenger
seat were listed in critical condition,
police reported. The other
male passenger is expected to survive.
Meanwhile, law enforcement
sources said, the bus driver and
two B60 passengers suffered minor
injuries and refused medical
attention at the scene.
The NYPD Collision Investigation
Squad is looking into the
crash, police reported.
