A group of goons beat up a man
inside a S. Portland Avenue apartment
building on Dec. 7.
The victim told police that one
of the ne’er-do-wells approached the
victim in his car and snatched his
keys, phone, and $640 before goading
him inside the apartment between
Hanson and S. Elliot place
at 2:40 pm — where a group of accomplices
started mauling the victim,
leaving him with bruises and a
busted lip.
Unhinged!
Cops arrested a woman for allegedly
slamming a door on a fellow
offi cer during an arrest at a Monument
Walk apartment on Dec. 11.
The victimized-offi cer told her
colleagues that she’d been investigating
alleged child abuse when
she found the suspect had an arrest
warrent between Navy Street and
Park Avenue at 1:35 pm, before the
suspect allegedly whacked the door
at her foot and fl ailed her arms to resist
the arrest.
Police arrested the suspect and
charged her with felony assault on
a police offi cer, according to police
reports.
Home invasion
Rustlers raided a woman’s Fulton
Street apartment building on
the night of Dec. 10.
The victim told police that the
fi lchers broke a door to the basement
between St Felix Street and
Fort Greene Place overnight and
stole a lock box.
Quick swipe
Sneak thieves stole a man’s Citi
Bike outside a Myrtle Avenue diner
on Dec. 7.
The victim told police that he
left the blue rental bike in front of
the eatery at Hall Street at 5:20 pm
for fi ve minutes, but when he came
back, it was gone.
Dude, where’s my car?
Carjackers stole a delivery man’s
vehicle outside a St Edwards Street
building on Dec. 9.
The victim told police that he was
making a delivery at Myrtle Avenue
at 10:20 pm, and when he came back
10 minutes later, his car was gone.

Bodega bandit
A gun-toting brigand held up
a Schermerhorn Street bodega on
Dec. 7.

The victim told police that the
menace brandished the fi rearm inside
the store at Hoyt Street at 7:45
pm, before forcing the shopkeeper
to hand over $400.
Midnight marauder
A shoplifter stabbed a security
guard at a Clinton Street pharmacy
on Dec. 10.
The victim told police that the
fi lcher nabbed some body wash at
the store at Joralemon Street just
after midnight, and when the guard
tried to stop him from leaving,
the baddie pulled out a knife and
pierced his arm.
Tool loot
A burglar raided a Fulton Mall
construction site on Dec. 7.
Employees told police that the

A swift scalawag stole a man’s
phone on the F train near Jay Street
on Dec. 9.
The victim told police that the
nogoodnik grabbed the cell from his
hand and fl ed out of the Coney Island
bound train near Willoughby
Street at 6:30 pm.
Quick catch
Cops arrested a man for allegedly
stealing a deliveryman’s e-bike
near the local police precinct on
Gold Street on Dec. 13.
The victim told police that he
was making a drop-off near Tillary
Street just after 8 pm when the suspect
allegedly hopped on the twowheeler
and rode off.
Boys in Blue caught up with the
suspect a block away at Myrtle Avenue
and arrested him on felony
grand larceny charges, according
to police reports.

Scammers stole more than
$10,000 from a Brooklyn Heights senior
on Nov. 2.
The 73-year-old victim told police
that the fraud emailed him claiming
to be a contractor that recently
did work on his apartment, demanding
pay at 1 pm, but when the victim
wired him $10,500, the actual vendor
told him that he never received
payment.

Grand theft auto
A good-for-nothing rode off in a
brand new Volvo parked on Clinton
Street sometime between Nov. 26
and Dec. 2.
The victim told police that the
pirate broke into the $48,000 car
parked between Sackett and Union
streets, before nabbing an extra set
of keys inside the vehicle and driving
off.
Sew not cool
A porch pirate stole a sewing machine
from outside a Summit Street
home on Nov. 29.
The victim told police that the
bandit snatched a package containing
the $238 machine from outside a
home by Columbia Street sometime
between 6:30 pm and 9 pm.
Bike burglary
A pilferer stole an $800 bike and
a helmet from inside a Henry Street
house on Nov. 29.
The victim told police that the
sneak thief snagged the pricey bike
and its $60 protective headwear
from the vestibule of the house near
Warren Street sometime between 5
pm and 10:30 pm.

Bag snatcher
A marauder violently stole a
woman’s bag with $1,300 worth of
items on Brighton Fourth Street on
Dec. 11.
The victim told police that the
brute threw her to the sidewalk near
Brighton Fourth Court at around
6:20 am and ripped her purse away.

Four people were injured after
a gunman fi red off a hail of bullets
on a Gowanus street on Saturday afternoon,
according to police.
Cops rushed to the scene on
Warren Street near Third Avenue
at around 4:06 pm, where witnesses
reported hearing between fi ve and
seven shots ring out, authorities
said.
Three of the victims sustained
wounds to their arms and legs,
while the fourth was hit in the abdomen.
Paramedics took the four
injured men — ages 21, 23, 25, and
38 — for treatment at nearby hospitals,
where they are all expected to
survive, authorities said.
A witness at the scene said that
one of the victims was an employee
at the building complex, who wound
up being shot in the stomach.
“I heard the shots, I ran outside
to see if anyone was hit. The one
victim I know personally,” said
the woman, identifi ed only as Ms.
Brown. “He was on the way to go
home when shots rang out. We gotta
all hit the deck.”
No arrests have been made in
the case, and the investigation remains
ongoing, according to police.
The incident comes during a
particularly deadly year of gun violence
in Brooklyn, where police
have recorded 495 shooting victims
throughout the borough as of Dec.
6, compared with just 250 over the
same timeframe in 2019 — marking
a nearly 100 percent increase, according
to police statistics.
