family sports facility since 2006,
and its children’s gymnastic gym

Sports and Events gymnastics

coaches with a wide variety of
backgrounds and experience.
Coaches work closely with gymnasts

work ethic needed to become

Bonnie Youth Club Inc.
Play ball! The Bonnie Youth Club,
a year-round youth program
founded in 1949, uses baseball
as a vehicle to develop young
players into successful adults.
This non-profit organization
runs a nationally renowned
sandlot baseball operation that
engages youth and young adults
from ages 5-21, mainly from
minority and economically disadvantaged
backgrounds. Off
the field, its primary youth development
and support program
“Support, Service, and Success”
emphasizes the importance of
education, with a focus on high
school and college placement.
Bonnie Youth Club enrolls students
into independent day and
boarding schools throughout the
country — offering scholarships
and school-based financial aid.
Over 150 of its student athletes
have attended higher education
institutions like Drexel, Story
Brook and Quinnipiac Universities.

BEST SOCCER CLUB
Brooklyn Italians Youth Soccer
Club
Have your kid “kick off” their
summer with the best. The
Brooklyn Italians Soccer Club
was established in 1949 as a social
club for Italian immigrants
in Brooklyn, becoming one of the
earliest teams formed in the New
York City area. Today, the club
comprises over 800 youth players
who participate in local leagues,
tournaments and cups, and have
won numerous trophies. The club
has been the host of two major
U.S. tournaments including the
Christopher Columbus Cup and
the New York City Indoor Classic.
The youth section competes in the
New York Club Soccer League,
and its teams travel annually to
the Dallas Cup, Vincenzo Romano
Torneo in Rome, and many other
