Love is strange
Cops arrested a woman they
say stabbed her ex-boyfriend with
a butcher knife at their Dekalb Avenue
home on Dec. 27.
The victim told cops that, near
Fleet Street at 12:30 pm, his former
lover slashed his hand with the
blade.
Cops arrived at the scene around
5:20 pm and arrested the woman on
felony assault charges.
Ride share robbers
A group of shysters robbed an
Uber driver on Fulton Street on
Dec. 21.
The victim told cops that, at
Adams Street around 3:40 am, he
picked up the four fi ends, who asked
him for his phone to change their
destination address.
When they gave his cell back, he
noticed they’d transferred almost
$1,200 from his Uber account, according
to cops.
The bandits then got out at Willoughby
Street, smashed his front
windshield and hightailed it to Jay
Street toward Atlantic Avenue, according
to police reports.
Big loot
Police are on the hunt for a nogoodnik
who broke into a guy’s
car and stole $5,000 at Willoughby
Street on the night of Dec. 21.
The victim told cops that he left
his vehicle at the corner of Bridge
Street at 8 pm and when he came
back at 12:40 am, he saw that someone
had busted his driver-side window
and taken the cash from his
glove compartment.
Seamless steal
A sneaky purloiner nabbed a deliveryman’s
e-bike on Orange Street
on Dec. 22.
The victim told cops that he left
his electric two-wheeler unlocked
while making a delivery between
Henry and Hicks streets at 3 pm,
and when he came back 15 minutes
later, it was gone.
Family fraud
Some charlatan stole almost
$5,000 by falsifying a check he got
from his uncle on Clark Street on
Dec. 1.
The victim told police that he
mailed a $1,150 check to his nephew
around 2 pm between Cadman Plaza
W. and Henry Street, but noticed on
Dec. 24 that the same check was altered
to pay out $4,756 instead.

Cops seek man who vandalized
four Midwood synagogues
Cops are looking for this man in connection to a spree of vandalism at four Midwood
synagogues. NYPD
Home invaders
Cops arrested a man they say
helped invade a guy’s Auburn Place
apartment on Dec. 21.
The victim told cops that, between
N. Portland Avenue and St
Edwards Street at 8:30 pm, the suspect
and two other guys knocked on
his door.
When he opened up, the defendant
allegedly hit him in the face
with a gun, before the group allegedly
walked into the home, hit one
of the victim’s friends in the head
with the gun, and stole a bag of
money, according to police.
Cops arrested one man at the
scene around 9:10 pm on felony robbery
charges but Boys in Blue are
still looking for two others, according
to police reports.
What a jerk!
Cops collared a guy they say
tried to steal a teen’s coat on Fulton
Street on Dec. 23.
The victim, 17, told cops that,
near S. Elliott Place around 7:50
pm, the suspect allegedly followed
the victim and tried to take her coat
while shouting profanities at her.
She ran away from the man but
he said he had a gun, reaching for
his waist and simulating a fi rearm
there, according to cops.
Police caught up with the man
on the scene at 8:25 pm and arrested
him on felony robbery charges, according
to police sheets.
Anti-masker
A maskless menace threw a frozen
ice cream at a bus driver at
Flushing Avenue on Dec. 21.
The victim told cops that, near
Cumberland Street at 3:40 pm, the
jerk boarded without a face covering,
and when the driver asked him
to put one on, the lout picked up the
frozen ice cream from the ground
and threw it at his face, before fl eeing
toward Park Avenue, according
to police reports.
Bad friends
A bat-wielding brute smacked
his pal inside a Fulton Street barbershop
on Dec. 27.
The victim told cops that, between
Clinton and Waverly avenues
at 3 pm, the friends got into a war of
words, before the ruffi an grabbed
a baseball bat from his car and hit
him in the arm.
The villain threatened to shoot
him before speeding off in his car,
according to police reports.
Booth bandit
A looter raided a Dekalb Avenue
diner on the night of Dec. 20.
The victim told cops that, at St
James Place between 2 pm and 5 am
the next day, the rustler picked the
eatery’s lock and took $2,000 from
an automated teller machine inside
the business.
Christmas crime
Cops are looking for a brigand
who took a deliveryman’s e-bike on
Ashland Place on Dec. 25.
The victim told cops that, at 5:25
pm near Fulton Street, he was dropping
off a delivery and when he
came back his electric two-wheeler
was gone.
Police searched the area and
found the bike a couple of blocks
away on S. Oxford Street, between
Lafayette Avenue and Fulton Street,
according to police reports.

Cops are looking for the bigot
who vandalized four Brooklyn
synagogues and broke into one
over the weekend.
It was reported to police that between
12:20 and 1:30 am on Dec. 26,
an unknown man used a marker
to make graffi ti on four different
Midwood synagogues: Young Israel
of Midwood (1694 Ocean Avenue),
Kahal Darkei Noam, Tefi la
LeMoshe D`Boston (2822 Avenue
J), Khal Toras Chaim D’Flatbush
(2201 Avenue L) and Knesses Bais
Avigdor (1720 Avenue J).
The suspect scribbled derogatory
phrases on the buildings, including
“pedophiles,” “thieves
pedophiles” and “anti-acculturation.”
Cops say the perp took it a step
further at Knesses Bais Avigdor,
where he broke in and tagged
property inside the building. The
suspect also damaged two cabinets
and took $20 before fl eeing
the scene, according to the NYPD,
whose Hate Crimes Task Force is
investigating the crime spree.
Authorities released photos
of the suspects taken from two of
the synagogues, as well as a video
from Kahal Darkei Noam, Tefi la
LeMoshe D`Boston.
The suspect is described as a
man with a light complexion and
a medium build, with a black mustache
and facial hair. He was last
seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt,
a black jacket, blue jeans
and black sneakers.
