A thief looted a parked car at
a Ralph Avenue shopping center
on July 11, taking $1,200 worth of
goods.
The victim told police that he
parked his car between avenues K
and L at 2 p.m., and returned two
hours later to fi nd a bag containing
his credit cards, debit cards and license
had been stolen.
Sneaker snatcher
A thief nabbed $3,395 worth of
goods from a parked car on East 52
Street on July 10.
The victim told police she parked
her car near Kings Highway at 4
a.m., and returned after sunrise to
discover one of her car windows had
been smashed and a bag that contained
her wallet, credit cards, and
designer sneakers had been nabbed,
police said.
Tool time
A criminal snatched tools worth
$2,850 from a car parked on E. 38th
Street on July 9.
The victim told police that he
parked his car near Flatbush Avenue
at 9 p.m., returning the following
morning to fi nd a passenger
door had been pried open and his
tools absconded with.

Stairway to hell!
A knife-wielding wacko robbed a
man inside his W. 23rd Street apartment
building on July 12.
The victim told police he inside
the stairwell of the building between
Neptune and Mermaid Avenue
at 4:55 p.m., when the crook held
him up and knife point, before taking
his wallet containing $900 and
fl eeing.
Burning passion
Cops arrested a man for
alledgedly hiting his girlfriend
with a glass candle holder on Neptune
Avenue on July 8.
The victim told police her boyfriend
smacked her with the candelabra
at their home between W. 37
St. and W. 33 St. at 6:29 p.m.
The victim suffered minor injuries
to her eye, cops said.
Tough love
Some lowlife viciously beat his
better half inside her W. 21 St. apartment
on July 5.
The victim told police her beau
attacked her at inside the apartment
between Mermaid and Surf avenues
at 2 p.m.
She drove herself to Coney Island
hospital for three broken ribs
and a punctured lung following the
attack, police said.

Jewel heist
A burglar nabbed $85,000 worth
of jewelry and electronics from an
E. Third Street home sometime between
July 3 and July 8.
The victim told police he was
traveling when the burglar entered
his residence near Second Avenue
through a window, before ransacking
the place and looting his most
treasured valuables stashed in a
safe, cops said.
Bad delivery
A thief snatched $4,377 from a delivery
truck parked on Avenue U on
July 13.
The victim told police he parked
his vehicle near E. 13th Street at 1:20
a.m., and returned later to discover
his cash had been stolen.
Nice try
A thief tried — and failed — to
rob a man on E. 12 Street on June
27.
The victim told police the robber
waltzed up near Quentin Road and
demanded cash at 1:25 p.m.
When the victim told the man
he didn’t have money, the robber
tried to remove his backpack and
punched him in the head, but ultimately
came away empty handed,
police said.

Battered up
A bat-wielding bandit beat and
robbed a man on Third Avenue on
July 9.
The victim told police the bruiser
approached him near 34th Street at
around 3:30 p.m., cracking him over
the head with the slugger, before
nabbing $30 from his pocket, cops
said.
Paramedics rushed the victim
to a nearby hospital for treatment,
while the crook took off running,

according to authorities.
Sunset swindler
A con man stole $75,000 from a
44th Street woman on July 2.
The victim told police that she
received a phone call from an unknown
man, who threatened to
track her down and beat her unless
she paid up. The victim, who lives
between Seventh and Eighth Avenues,
sent two wire transfers totaling
$75,000 shortly before midnight,
cops said.
Smash and grab
A thief looted a parked car on
Third Avenue on July 1.
The victim told police that he left
his vehicle between 50th and 51st
streets at around midnight, only to
return the next morning to discover
his drivers-side window shattered
and $10,000 worth of electronics stolen,
cops said.
Rough housing
Cops arrested a man for allegedly
beating a man inside his 53rd
Street home on July 12.
The victim told police that he
was arguing with his brother inside
their house between Third and
Fourth avenues at 9 p.m. Things
heated up when a third man attempted
to physically restrain the
victim, and bashed him in the head
with the handle of his knife, cops
said. When police showed, they
cuffed suspect on a felony assault
charge, according to authorities.
Midnight picker
A pickpocket stole a woman’s
wallet on Fifth Avenue on July 12.
The victim told police the thief
snuck up on her near 61st Street
and grabbed the wallet out of her
purse at shortly after midnight. She
turned around just in time to spy
the purloiner as he escaped towards
60th Street, cops said.
Busted brutes
Police arrested two men suspected
of brutally assaulting a man
on Fourth Avenue on July 14.
The victim told police the suspects
waltzed up and socked him between
Third and Fourth avenues at
11 p.m., before laying into him with
fl urry of blows.
Police tracked down the two suspects,
who were in possession of
multiple illicit drugs, and arrested
them on felony assault and narcotics
possession charges, according to
authorities.
Home invasion
A burglar ransacked a 52nd
Street home on July 8.
The victim told police that the
thief entered the building between
Fifth and Sixth avenues through an
unlocked bedroom window sometime
after 10 a.m., before nabbing
$1,300 worth of property.

Generation smack
Cops cuffed a woman for allegedly
punching an 80-year-old
woman in the face on Park Place on
July 13.
The victim told police that she
was walking between Carlton and
Vanderbilt avenues when the 27-
year-old suspect approached and
slugged her at around noon, cops
said.
First responders took the woman
to Methodist Hospital for treatment
of minor injuries.
Police tracked down their suspect
and charged her with felony assault
the following day, cops said.
Helter shelter
Police arrested a woman for allegedly
assaulting another woman
on Eighth Avenue on July 8.
The victim told police she was
standing outside the women’s shelter
between 14th and 15th streets
when she began arguing with the
suspect. The argument escalated,
and the woman allegedly hit the
68-year-old victim in the face, cops
said.
Police arrived on the scene and
slapped the suspect with felony assault
charges, according to police
reports.
Tin-can crook
A shoplifter looted a Fourth Avenue
store on July 11.
Store employees stole police that
the thief nabbed approximately $50
worth of tuna fi sh cans at around 10
a.m., before hightailing it with his
ill-gotten fi sh, cops said.
Atlantic antics
Cops arrested a man for allegedly
looting shelves at an Atlantic
Avenue store on July 9.
Security guards told police that
they stopped the suspect from making
off with about $34 worth of merchandise
from the store near Flatbush
Avenue at 3 p.m.
Cops showed up to cuff the suspect
soon after on a misdemeanor
larceny charge, cops said.
