A fraudster scammed an E. 53rd
Street woman out of $22,450 on May
15.
The perp fi rst made contact with
the victim, who lives between Avenue
I and Avenue J, using an online
dating app. After months of talking,
the baddie convinced the woman to
wire him the money to get his leave
approved from the military, where
he was stationed overseas. After she
sent the funds, the scammer stopped
responding to messages, cops said.
Jewel robbery
A purloiner stole jewelry from an
E. 73rd Street home on May 29.
The thief entered the home — located
between Avenue L and Avenue
M — undetected between 8 a.m. and
8 p.m., before making off with a gold
chain, a watch, and a designer belt,
according to police.
Vehicular villain
A brigand stole $2,549 from a car
that was parked on Utica Avenue on
May 28.
The baddie entered the unlocked
car, which was in a department store
parking lot between Avenue I and Avenue
J, at around noon, before stealing
a laptop and several clothing
items, cops said.
Cell phone scammer
A swindler scammed a Fillmore
Avenue man out of $2,610 on April 23.
The victim, who lives between E.
54th and E. 55th streets, received a bill
in the mail on May 31 for an outstanding
balance from his phone company.
The perp had used the victim’s personal
information to purchase two
cell phones, cops said.
Not so charitable
A thief stole a woman’s wallet on
Avenue I on May 29.
The perp was standing near the
intersection of E. 32nd Street, asking
for charitable donations. When the
victim took out her wallet to make a
contribution, the perp grabbed the
wallet, which contained $200, and
ran off at approximately 10 a.m., cops
said.

Surf Ave. slasher
A dirtbag stabbed a man two times
on Surf Avenue on May 26.
The punk approached the victim
near the intersection of W. 22nd Street
shortly after 9 p.m. and punched the
27-year-old victim in the face. After a
brief scuffl e, the baddie stabbed the
victim in the toroso and the right
arm, cops said.
The perp fl ed toward W. 23rd
Street before the arrival of fi rst responders,
who took the bleeding victim
to Lutheran Hospital, according
to authorities.
Delivery dirtbag
Police arrested a suspect for allegedly
robbing a delivery man on W.
11th Street on May 28.
The suspect boarded an elevator
with the victim, who was delivering
a package to an apartment, between
Avenue V and Avenue. The suspect
then allegedly grabbed the package
and made off shortly before noon,
cops said.
Police later tracked down the 24-
year-old man and arrested him, according
to authorities.
Failed fi lcher
A nogoodnik failed to rob a man at
knifepoint on Bay 46th Street on May
29.
The perp approached the man between
Cropsey and Harway avenues
and took out a black knife, before demanding
money. The victim refused,
and the baddie ran away at around 11
p.m., cops said.
Gun-wielding goon
A mugger robbed a man at gunpoint
in a Bayview Avenue apartment
building on June 1.
The lawbreaker displayed a black
fi rearm in the lobby of the building
between W. 33rd Street and Neptune
Avenue, before grabbing the victim’s
wallet and running off at 1:20 a.m.,
cops said.

Subway scoundrel
A train robber stole a man’s
headphones at the Kings Highway
subway station on June 2.
The pillager approached the victim
aboard a northbound F train
at approximately 6:30 p.m. and
punched him in the face multiple
times, before grabbing the ill-gotten
headphones and hopping off the
train, cops said.
Bedford Avenue
brutes
Two brutes assaulted and
robbed a man on Bedford Avenue

on May 28.
The baddies approached the victim
near the intersection of Avenue
Y at 3:10 a.m. and punched him in
the back of the head, causing him
to fall to the ground. While he was
lying on the sidewalk, the brigands
grabbed the victim’s backpack and
fl ed toward E. 26th street, cops
said.
Bob the burglar
A pilferer looted a Voorhies Avenue
garage on May 28.
The perp snuck into the vacant
carport sometime between midnight
and 7:30 a.m. and stole $1,520
worth of construction equipment
and making off undetected from
the property, between Bedford Avenue
and E. 24th Street, cops said.
Bodega baddie
A freebooter robbed an Avenue
U bodega on May 30.
The burglar broke into the
store, located near the intersection
of Haring Street, and stole money
from the cash register, as well as a
safe which contained $3,000, while
the store was closed between 3:00
a.m. and 8:30 a.m., according to police.
Gravesend goon
A home invader robbed an Avenue
X home on May 30.
The perp entered the vacant
home between 4 a.m. and 1 p.m. and
stole two laptops, a cellphone, and
other electronics, before leaving
undetected from the home, located
between E. 1st and E. 2nd streets,
cops said.

Drop the case
A home invader stole two DJ
turntables from a W. 11th Street
house on 31.
The prowler snuck in through the
unlocked rear window of the home,
between Avenue S and Avenue T,
and made off with the high-tech record
tables between midnight and 8
a.m., cops said.
Jewel heist
Cops cuffed a woman who attempted
to steal jewelry from a Bay
Parkway store on June 2.
The woman attempted to leave
the store, located at the intersection
of Shore Parkway, without paying
for the items, which totaled $1,918,
cops said.
Authorities arrived on the scene
and arrested the woman 1:20 p.m.,
according to police reports.
Highway robbery
A raider stole a motorcycle on
Shore Parkway on May 29.
The thief took the unattended motorbike,
which was parked between
20th and 21st avenues, between 1:45
a.m. and 11 a.m., cops said.
Bath Beach baddie
A carjacker robbed a parked car
on Bay Parkway on May 24.
The thief broke the passenger
side window of the vehicle, which
was parked near the intersection of
83rd Street, and took various electronics
out of the glove compartment
at approximately 3:45 p.m.,
cops said.

Rough upbringing
Cops are hunting a man for allegedly
beating his girlfriend inside a
33rd Street apartment — while she
held a baby — on May 28.
The victim told police that she
was arguing with her boyfriend
inside the residential building between
Third and Fourth avenues at
11:05 a.m., when he struck her with
a two-liter bottle of ginger ale, before
punching and kicking her.
Throughout her ordeal, the victim
clung to her fi ve-month-old
child, and when she attempted to
fl ee, the suspected alleged smashed
her hand in the door, cops said.
Road rage
Cops cuffed a man for allegedly
punching a guy following a car accident
on E. Fifth Street on May 28.
The victim told police that he
was involved in a collision with the
suspect near Greenwood Avenue at
3:30 p.m., when the man hurled him
from his vehicle and punched him
in the face.
Cops cuffed the suspect on a felony
criminal mischief charge that
day, cops said.
Beatdown
A gang of 10 men attack a man
and his sister on 52nd Street on
June 2.
The victim told police the small
army of thugs descended on them
near Second Avenue at 5 a.m., kicking,
punching, and slashing them,
before hightailing it.
