With the New Year comes new resolutions—and it is always essential to find exciting ways to maintain that fervor we harbor at the start of the year. So, with being healthy comes a story of Sexy Batch cookies, as well as a 24-hour organic market. New restaurants continue to open, so this month we make stops at a beer hall in Long Island City and a tremendous new Indian restaurant featuring a seasonal menu. Old favorites surprise us with some new tricks, like the transcendent organic roasted half chicken at The Thirsty Koala. Cocktails are elevated to new heights at a comedy club on Vernon, and some of Astoria’s most gifted bartenders compete in an exciting face off at The Bonnie.
