 BOY FATALLY STABBED

 A man is in custody after  
 a teenage boy was stabbed to  
 death in broad daylight — reportedly  
 over parking. 
 Authorities say that at  
 2:30 pm on June  17, police  responded  
 to a call regarding a  
 young man stabbed in front  
 of 168 Decatur St. in Bedford- 
 Stuyvesant. Upon their arrival, 
  offi cers found 15-year-old  
 Troy Lovik at the scene with a  
 stab wound to his chest. 
 EMS rushed Lovik, of Amboy  
 Street, to NYC Health +  
 Hospitals/Kings County, where  
 he was pronounced dead.  
 A 48-year-old man was  
 taken into custody at the scene  
 with charges pending against  
 him, according to police. At  
 this time, the motive behind  
 the stabbing remains unclear,

 but authorities told Brooklyn  
 Paper that the dispute may  
 have started over parking. 
 A Police Department  
 spokesperson said Friday that  
 Lovick and a group of friends  
 may  have  been  blocking  the  
 suspect  from  trying  to  leave  
 his parking spot, at which  
 point “some words were exchanged  
 and that’s when this  
 thing happened.” 
 A motorcyclist and passenger were struck and killed Friday morning

 Two  people  died  of  their  
 injuries  on  Friday  morning  
 during a motorcycle crash in  
 Crown Heights. 
 Authorities say that at  
 10:32 a.m. offi cers responded  
 to a 911 call regarding a crash  
 in  front  of  49  Rogers  Ave.  
 Upon their arrival, offi cers  
 found a 25-year-old woman  
 and a 37-year-old man had  
 been involved in a crash near  
 Bergen Street. 
 A  preliminary  investigation  
 found that the two victims  
 were  riding  on  a  motorcycle  
 when  they  swerved  
 to avoid a dump truck. This  
 resulted  in  the  motorcycle  
 striking both a nearby Parks  
 Department vehicle and a  
 moving truck, causing them  
 to eject from the bike and hit  
 the ground. 
 The victims were rushed  
 to Interfaith Hospital, where  
 they were  pronounced  dead.  
 The  identities of  the  victims  
 are being withheld pending  
 family notifi cation. 
 “They  zigged  and  zagged  
 as  they  were  coming  up  on  
 the dump truck,” said witness  
 Valerie  Roberts.  “They  
 hit the side of the moving  
 van. My heart goes out to the  
 man and woman.”  
 The truck and park vehicle  
 drivers stayed at the  
 scene. The investigation is

 BK man cuffed in possible  
 accidental fatal shooting

 A Brooklyn teen was arrested  
 for shooting a man to  
 death last month. 
 According to police, just  
 before 12:05 a.m. on May 29,  
 18-year-old  Raynaldo  Lewis  
 was inside 22-year-old Hakeem  
 Norman’s apartment, located  
 in the vicinity of Pacifi c Street  
 and Ralph Avenue. Police say  
 that Lewis was allegedly playing  
 with a handgun when it  
 went  off,  striking  Norman  
 once in the neck. 
 Lewis then allegedly fl ed  
 the scene in an unknown direction. 
   Norman  was  rushed  
 to  Interfaith  Medical  Center  
 by EMS, where he ultimately  
 died of his injuries on May 31. 
 A spokesperson for the  
 NYPD states that the shooting  
 may have been accidental.  
 Lewis was taken into custody  
 on June 21 and charged with
