A pair of brutes attacked a delivery
cyclist on Sands Street on
May 19.
The victim told police that, at
Gold Street around 11 pm, the man
and woman walked up and demand
he hand over his food.
When refused, the guy socked
him in the head while his partnerin
crime tried to take the grub,
cops said.
The victim continued to fi ght
them off until they fl ed emptyhanded,
according to police reports.
Rib jab
Some ruffi an fractured a guy’s
ribs on Bond Street on May 17.
The victim told cops that, at
State Street at 3:50 pm, the ne’erdo
well said, “Don’t f--- with me,”
and hit him in the chest.
The victim later got an X-ray
which showed the attacker broke
fractured three of his ribs, according
to the authorities.
Caught in the act!
A State Street man caught a burglar
going through his home on the
night of May 17.
The victim told cops that, between
Third and Fourth avenues
at 12:50 am, he was in his bedroom
when he heard the fi lcher come in
the front door downstairs.
He went to check and saw that
someone had taken his car keys
and his kid’s mask and when he
looked out the window he saw the
rogue walk away wearing a refl ective
vest, according to police.
He chased after him and the
bandit dropped a bag which had
the mask but no keys, before fl eeing
on Third Avenue toward Pacifi
c Street, according to police reports.
Doctor’s disorder
Police arrested a woman they
say stole food from a Montague
Street doctor’s offi ce on the night
of May 18.
The victim told cops that, between
Clinton and Henry streets
at 11:50 pm, he was notifi ed of an
alarm for someone breaking into
the building and saw the suspect
allegedly go through drawers and
desks before taking a soda and
some food from the cafeteria area.
Cops rushed to the scene and
cuffed the woman for felony burglary
charges at 12:45 am, according
to police reports.

The victim told police that, between
Gallatin Place and Hoyt
Street at 4 pm, the two suspect allegedly
took a belt, tote bag, earrings,
a bracelet, and a necklace
worth $2,584 without paying.
Cops caught both of them just
outside the store and arrested them
for felony grand larceny charges,
according to police reports.
Five-fi nger discount
A sneak nabbed a bunch of
shirts from a Fulton Mall department
store on May 23.
The victim told cops that, between
Gallatin Place and Hoyt
Street at 11 am, the purloiner put
three polo shirts in a pillow case
and bolted.

Subway slasher
A villain slashed a guy’s face at
the Lafayette Avenue C train stop
on May 19.
The victim told cops that, on the
Manhattan-bound platform near
S. Portland Avenue, the wretch
stabbed him in the side of his mouth
with a knife and fl ed toward S. Oxford
Street.
Knifed!
Some scumbag stabbed a guy
on Fleet Walk in the early hours of
May 21.
The victim told cops that, near
Prince Street at 12:30 am, the knave
waltzed up and pierced his chest.
A bus brought the victim to
Methodist Hospital for treatment
of his non-life-threatening wounds,
according to the authorities.
Choker
A group of goons held up a deliveryman
at Quincy Street on May
18.
The victim told cops that, between
Downing Street and Classon
Avenue at 9:20 pm, the toughs put
him in a chokehold while one punk
took his phone, before both perps
fl ed toward Lexington Avenue.
Raided
Looters ransacked a Waverly Avenue
woman’s home on May 16.
The victim told police that the
raiders, caught on camera, busted
her padlock and pried open her
door, before taking a camera set,
shoe box, a box of cigars, and a safe
full of money between Myrtle and
Park avenues at 1:40 am.
Boot loot
Some bandit made a killing stealing
almost $100,000-worth of jewelry
from a woman’s car on Myrtle
Avenue on May 17.
The victim told cops that she
parked her car between Grand Avenue
and Steuben Street just before
10 am and when she came back 45
minutes later found that someone
had taken a bunch of diamond and
gold rings and necklaces from her
trunk.

Gassed up
A brute slashed a man at a Neptune
Avenue park after getting into a
dispute at a gas station on May 13.
The victim told police the villain
followed him and two friends to the
park at the intersection of E. 12th
Street around 2: 50 am and stabbed
him in the hand and elbow.
Backstabber
A bruiser randomly stabbed a
man in the back at an Avenue V public
housing complex on May 16.
The victim told police he was in
the lobby of the building between
Stillwell Avenue and W. 11th Street
visiting his girlfriend around 5:45
a when he was stabbed in the lower
back by someone he did not see.

A 74-year-old Crown Heights
woman was killed by a hit-and-run
driver in Canarsie late Wednesday
night, according to police.
The woman, Maureen Fraser,
was crossing East 80th Street at
the intersection with Paerdegat
12th Street on the evening of May
19 when authorities she was struck
by a driver in a white van. Cops and
EMS responded to a 911 call made at
11:19 pm and found Fraser unconscious
and unresponsive, and with
a traumatic head injury.
Fraser was taken to Brookdale
Hospital, where she was pronounced
dead.
Cops say the driver of the white
van was heading southbound on
East 80th Street when they hit
Fraser, and then fl ed the scene. Police
are investigating the incident
but have not made any arrests.
The incident is the fi rst fatal
traffi c collision in Canarsie so far
this year, according to NYPD traffi
c collision records. Back in January,
however, a cyclist on Ralph Avenue
reportedly “lost control” of his
e-bike and fell to the ground, suffering
fatal injuries.
