Subway slasher
An armed villain stabbed a guy
at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets
station on April 16.
The victim told police that, on a
Queens-bound A train just before
2:40 pm, the brute kicked his leg and
threw a Sprite can at him.
The victim got off the train at the
Downtown Brooklyn station, before
the good-for-nothing stabbed him
in the torso and fl ed the station, according
to police reports.
Neck-sposure
Cops collared a man they say
pulled down his pants and choked a
woman at a Fulton Mall department
store on April 17.
The victim told cops that, between
Hoyt Street and Gallatin
Place just before 4 pm, the suspect
allegedly had his trousers at his
knees and started strangling the
woman.
He fl ed the store, but police
stopped him down the block near
Lawrence Street and arrested him
for felony assault.
Pedal pusher
Some brute pushed a woman off
of her Citi Bike on the Fulton Mall
on April 14.
The victim told police she was
riding between Hanover Place and
Bond Street at 9:15 pm, when the
lout shoved her to the ground and
pedaled off with her blue rental bicycle.
Cutter caught
Police arrested a man they say
threatened a man at knife-point at
the Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets subway
station on April 17.
The victim told cops that, on a
Manhattan-bound A train at 6:25
am, the suspect walked up and allegedly
threatened, “Don’t be my
fi rst victim, I will kill you.”
He went through the victim’s
backpack, before the two got into a
scuffl e and the rogue pulled out a
razor blade, according to police reports.
Cops caught up with the defendant
at the station just before 6:40
am and arrested him on felony robbery
charges, according to the authorities.
Nocturnal loot
An overnight invader ransacked
a woman’s Water Street home on
April 14.
The victim told police that, between
Jay and Bridge streets and
between 4-6:30 pm, the freebooter
bagged her laptop and luxury wallet,
before using her credit cards at
Home Depot in Bedford-Stuyvesant

Mall marauder
Police arrested an alleged shoplifter
at an Albee Square W. Mall on
April 17.
An employee told police that,
near the Fulton Mall just after 3
pm, the suspect allegedly took nail
beauty products without paying,
but cops arrested him on the scene
for felony grand larceny charges
just after 3:30 pm.

Poke payback
Police arrested a guy they say
poked one of his former colleagues
in the eye at a Lafayette Avenue grocery
store on April 13.
The victim told police that, near
Grand Avenue at 1:50 pm, the suspect
walked into the market he used
to work at claiming they owed him
money, before poking a worker’s eye
and taking $450 from a register.
Police arrested the man at the
scene for felony assault at 2:15 pm,
according to the authorities.
Gadget grab
A purloiner stole a bunch of tools
from a Putnam Avenue home between
April 15-16.
The victim told police that, between
Irving Place and Classon
Avenue and between 2 pm and 1:30
pm the next day, the prowler busted
the front-door lock and took a table
saw, drill, nail gun, and other tools
worth $3,600.
Conn-Ed!
Some shyster scammed a guy out
of more than 2,000 at his Clermont
Avenue home on April 14.
The victim told cops that, at Park
Avenue at 11:40 am, the fraud called
him claiming he was with Con Edison
and saying the victim owed
$2,222, demanding he wire him the
funds to pay down his balance.
Car wars
A fender bender turned ugly
when some lout stole $1,000 from another
guy on Vanderbilt Avenue on
April 15.
The victim told cops that, at
Gates Avenue at 3:30 pm, a driver
rear-ended him.
The other car’s driver called a
goon to the scene who reached into
the victim’s car and grabbed his
keys, demanding he hand over the
cash to get them back.
He gave him the money and the
criminal duo sped off toward Lafayette
Avenue.
E-bike swipe!
A thief nabbed a man’s e-bike
and phone outside a Classon Avenue
deli on April 17.
The victim told cops that, at Putnam
Avenue at 3:20 am, some sneak
took his electric two-wheeler and
phone worth $2,300.

Cops are looking for two female
serial swindlers who
looted jewelry from unsuspecting
victims in southern Brooklyn.
The trail of heists began
on April 17, when the suspects
drove up to an 84-year-old
woman near 67th Street and
Ninth Avenue and “proposed
a trade” at around 2:25 pm, according
to police. One of the
baddies then placed a necklace
around the victim’s neck, while
the other crook took the woman’s
necklace — valued at $1,500
— off of her neck without her
permission, before hopping into
their SUV and driving off.
The duo struck again the
following day at around 1:30
pm, when they approached a
68-year-old female near 64th
Street between Seventh and
Eighth avenues — again “proposing
a trade,” according to
police. The crooks then wrap a
chain around the victim’s wrist,
while removing her bracelet —
valued at around $1,000 — and
running off.
Robberies in the 68th Precinct,
where the weekend’s incidents
occurred, had been falling,
with just 13 between Jan.
1 and April 11, compared to 17
during the same timeframe last
year, according to NYPD statics.
