Queensbridge Compost Work Day
If you’ve been looking for a way to help keep food
scraps out of the landfill and make NYC more
sustainable, join the NYC Compost Project Hosted
by Big Reuse to volunteer at their large-scale urban
composting site in Queensbridge. Volunteers will help
break up leaf bags, rake and tidy the site, collect
trash, clean bins and other fun jobs. Volunteers must
be 18 or have a guardian signature.
