A 19-year-old man has been
arrested and charged with
attempted murder after
shooting three men several times
at the World’s Fair Marina in
July.
Abel Mora, who was arrested
within the confines of the 104th
Precinct on Thursday, Aug. 13, has
been charged with three counts of
attempted murder, three counts
of assault, two counts criminal
possession of a weapon, reckless
endangerment and criminal possession
of a firearm, according to
the criminal complaint.
On July 12, around 12:30 a.m.,
Mora allegedly got out of the backseat
of a white Mitsubishi sedan
parked at the World’s Fair Marina
and pulled out a gun, the criminal
complaint said.
Mora then fired off five to seven
shots, hitting three men in the
spray of bullets, according to the
complaint.
Mora was arraigned in Queens
Criminal Court on Friday, Aug. 14,
where a judge issued a $300,000
bond or $150,000 cash bail, which
Mora did not post.
Mora was scheduled to appear
back in court on Friday, Aug. 21.
