Suspects still at large in deadly Ridgewood stabbing

Detectives continue to seek the
public’s help in fi nding individuals
connected to a triple
stabbing at a Ridgewood intersection
last week that left a Glendale man dead
and two others injured.
Offi cers from the 104th Precinct
responded to a 911 call of a disorderly
group at the corner of Palmetto Street
and Seneca Avenue at 9:23 p.m. on

Avenue, where they located the three
Police said that 24-year-old Daniel
Atkinson of Glendale suff ered a stab
wound to his abdomen. Paramedics
rushed him to Wyckoff Heights Medical
Center, where he was pronounced
dead a short time later.
Cops also found a 26-year-old man
knifed in the back and shoulder, and a
23-year-old man with stab wounds to
his head and back. They were rushed
to Elmhurst Hospital and listed in

On March 10, police released
security camera footage taken a short
distance from the crime scene of individuals
wanted for questioning in connection
with the homicide. Some of the
footage shows the suspects walking in
front of a restaurant at the corner of
Myrtle and St. Nicholas avenues.

years aft er a 21-year-old man was shot to
death in front of a location on Palmetto
Street between Cypress and St. Nicholas
avenues in March of 2015. A Brooklyn
man was convicted of the shooting last
year and is now serving a 25 years to life
